Hello
Now with the glorious weather, (let’s hope it stays) I am looking to meet people who live or would like to spin in or around Camden. We could share knowledge and have some fun. Hopefully make some new friends. Or if any one knows any groups or anything that would be great thank you!

Usual place. In case anyone other than the usual crowd is reading this, its in the small park under the rail bridge, here.
Actually, I may just start a new thread and keep the first post updated with details, we may get more people that way...

Sorry I didn't make it folks, was off sick on Friday so had no access to the internet. Must try harder to get to these and Clapham meets, especially as I'm not going to be able to get to Spitz as often for a while

There's no plans for a Camden get together on the 15th, (that's a thursday I think, bit tricky). There may be something happeneing at the weekend in Camden though, if others are up for it.

Usually outside oddballs juggling shop just up from the lock but before the railway bridge that goes over the road. Look for the doughnut stall and it's near there!
The Spot is about 5 minutes walk from there.

SWEET! The fire-troupe's set up now, and we're planning on practise sessions on Saturdays, so I'll try and get them down too. The more the merrier!
So, days/times. How about Saturday 17th at 2.00 outside Oddballs. Or The Spot if you already know where it is.
The last one was ace, big-ups to Sara for supplying the CD player! I kind of went into mad DJ mode, but it was all good... Ended up slightly drunk, quite stoned and extremely wet (got properly caught out by the mental downpour). Lots of fun!

sam... i do feel for you, it was miserable when you left! quality meet - everybody there was fantastic

Everyone usually meets in/outside/around oddballs (the juggling shop) and then makes their way down to a place to spin. The park usually gets shutafter a couple of hours,so we end up at the pub.

Right, so we're doing a Camden spin this Saturday as well as the 17th then? SWEET. I'm there! I have a lovely long weekend planned with Friday and monday off, so I'm well up for it!
What time do people want to meet? I think I penciled in 2.00 for the 17th a few posts back, shall we say the same for this week?

eep, im dithering over when im gonna be in london now...thinking of going down earlier to catch a friends gig, but if i do, ill hafta leave earlier (friday) because i cant afford a full week down there. hm...decision lies on monday morning...will check back here

Aye, twas a good one! I think spinning in the lock is fairly cool, although I reckon it might get a bit crowded with more people. And I was in constant fear of dropping a poi in the canal...
Better for showing off as opposed to actual practise! Not that I mind too much, I'm a big showoff anyway. See you all on the 17th then! I'm bringing down a few more people as well...
