Hello

Now with the glorious weather, (let’s hope it stays) I am looking to meet people who live or would like to spin in or around Camden. We could share knowledge and have some fun. Hopefully make some new friends. Or if any one knows any groups or anything that would be great thank you!

Taking the bus from Camden to central is easy, its not that far. I got on the N18 in Harrow after an evening out with Uni, fell asleep, ( gental rocking and Warmth) and woke up................

BACK IN HARROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! confused

But saying that I perfer the Bus. being shoved down a deep, dark, airless, tunnel with so many other people whos personal hygene is questionable is not my idea of a whooppee either. at least you see more on the bus. gives me a chance to read.

Im not so worried about it now.

As long as I find a 29 bus, and get on it I can't really go wrong. It's not as if I'm going to miss trafalger square..

Then a little walk to charing cross then home. Sorted smile

Now I vaguely remember the way from camden tube station to oddballs, but we can come to that later ubblol

Don't worry Aimée, it's easy to find the 29 and it will drop you off right by charing cross. If all else fails I'll walk you there myself smile

Jo! I'll be at the trafalgar sq protest, if you want we can meet up and go to the meet... nevermind the fact we've never met, I hope there is such a thing as a hop radar failing that, huge poi would work!

no the 29 bus is not that many stops to trafalgar Squ! 10 stops perhaps??? you will be fine. I was on the bus from zone 6 to 1 and that is over 2 hrs on the bus, so of course I fell asleep.
and EVERYONE in london goes to Trafalgar SQ, charing X is right accross the street from the square so it is Sooooooooooo easy.
Camden is still central, on the zone1 border. I promise you you will be fine, and if in doubt tell your mom that we will all escourt you to charing X ourselves!!!!

I'm definitely going to have to be in Camden for this one as I've just worked out that after missing Spitz this week due to skintness I'm not going to be able to make it up there for at least 3 weeks! eek

see camden is the place to be! Being on the northern line its easy for trains from, kings cross, St Pancreas, and Euston. And also trains from/ to Waterloo, Charing Cross, and London Bridge. Busses to Traf Sq ate 24/7!!! and it is in CENTRAL london! I hope to see you all there. Bring what ever you want, eg , food, drink, dead rodent, music, etc......

Tis all very tempting... but I might be starting martial arts classes this Saturday (though I think my friend has got the day wrong!) but I really want to meet all you people so might show up if I can.

Do any of you go to Spitz? I'm thinking about turning up there too in the near future.

To recap, due to park closing and people doing other things later (Whirly etc), the meet will be a bit eariler, at 2PM on Saturday. We'll meet outside Oddballs again, and move to the park after everyone turns up.

So, whose coming to this one then?

hardware stores / ironmongers anywhere always seem to have it if it's actually in stock at the time, garage's seems sporadic, there are 5 I've tried in Oxford and none of them stock it so I gave up trying.
