Opps.......I did the bad thing as a newbie and I didnt use the template for all you nosy noses out there so here I sit editing my introduction.........my origional sin will be at the bottom........here goes

Location:Torrington, Connecticut, USA...for the moment, I spontaniously travel alot

D.O.B.:April 3, 1975.......man I'm getting old

Hobbies other than the obvious: playing guitar and singing, juggling, devil sticks, playing with my wonderful dog, disc golf, hiking, camping,lots and lots of stuff.....
Education:one year of college then I stopped, but I plan to go back in the spring of 2007 to be a nurse......theres a big shortage and I want to help people
Favorite books: currently I'm reading Wired:the short life and fast times of John Belushi.....any thing put out by Crimethinc collective is great too.....I love books they are food for your brain
Favorite movies:to many to list but a few are: What the bleep do we know, Waking life, Natural born killers, Fight club, Happy Gilmore, Supertroopers..... I could go on and on.....but I wont
Favorite TV shows: Family guy, Lost, That 70's show, The Simpsons.....

Hi all.......I'm new here and I'm glad I found the home of poi to unroll my bedroll in and curl up on the floor for a bit ......I fell in love with poi after a fire dancer performed at my friends wedding and it invaded my entire being.....even my dreams.....so I made some sock poi and started to learn.....I aspire to fire.......I've juggled and done devil sticks for many years and I think I found my next great love in poi.....these are such great activities when your a traveler such as me..... it helps to pass time and sparks conversations with new people who are curious about what I'm doing.....I cant wait to get better and have my first burn......thanks for reading this and feel free to message me with any tips you might have for me to help me progress.....

Mmmmmmmm Smoooooores......I ate them all last weekend when I was camping out at Rovo's place in the Adirondacks.....they are so yummy!
I made the greatest new poi today.....Rovo showed me a new design I didnt know how to do and they spin great.....real similar to how my fire poi handle so thier much better for practice than my old sock poi I was using
Oh any suggestions on how to save my fire poi? When we were camping we got rained on heavily and my tent turned into a lake.....consequently my wicks got soaked with water.....anyone have any ideas how I can save them?

Ummmmmm fire orb,,,,,or sometimes called a fire fly ....... Hmmmmm lets see......How to describe it......
Well its a small wick with wire strung through it......theres like about a foot to 18 inches of wire comming out of each side and the wire loops around the middle finger on each hand......So, when its lit it looks like I am magically making a small ball of fire hang in mid-air between my hands.....and I dance my hands all around it and can make it bounce and spin.....Its a really cool effect and its loads of fun to play and dance around with

The hugs are helping a lot Loki, I did some fire dancing this weekend and didn't have any problems at all. I love dancing bare foot in the grass. How did I do it? Well it was real stupid because the bench at the end of the bed has only been there for a year ... I probably don't have to say any more.
I have a need to travel ... to bad I don't have the money for it. *sigh*

Yeah I've got the traveling bug too!!!!!! I just drove up to Vermont yesterday but I want to do some real traveling......maybe I should just hop in my car and perform for traveling money across the country for awhile or something

Ok I'll tell you.......I'm getting paid for the first time for fire performing tomarrow.....wait tonight.....Ummmmm its four in the mourning right now so I guess its later tonight......anyway.....yeah my first cash performance! Its at a BBQ and they even sent me gas money to get here! I mean I've been paid in beer or other ilicite substances but this time its for money!!!!! I'm excited!!!!! I think its cool to be getting paid for doing something I love to do and probably would've done for free just for the chance to spin
