Posted: I'm getting bored of Surrey (especially as it isn't really very sunny) and am thinking of moving somewhere else. Where in the UK is nice?
NB I can't handle cities, I'm a country boy through and through.

Posted: I really love where I am in Exeter, Devon. I don't think there is anywhere I would rather be! Its not too big to be scary, but big enough to have what you need. Good bands play at the arts centre and the Cavern, and if you want a proper club night you can go to Bristol. It is also so near to the moors and beautiful Devon country side. I grew up on a farm on Dartmoor, so have to be able to get out of town and see green rolling hills and be able to walk for a while and not see any evidence of humans!
Its also excellent for mushies!
And also lovely clean beaches, and since moving back here in 1998 I have met some of the most fantastic and inspiring people ever!
Posted: I'm in the South East corner of Surrey just North of East Grinstead in a village called Lingfield (got a race track) Do the Guilford or Camberly trains go to Croydon or would I have to go right into London?
When do you meet?

Posted: no where in england is sunny. Having lived near both guildford and devon i can say they are both nice places, although surrey benefits in that its close to London (gfd is 45 mins by train) and not too far from the coast. You'd certainly get more for your money out of the commuter belt thou, west Sussex isn't at all bad, lots more countryside than surrey too.
