IVe booked the date in, and so now we have a lovely big Hall with a Kitchen and toilet block, along with a big ass campign area and flat area to use for the weekend! sept 30, Oct 1, 2 and 3. Its in a beautiful location only 5 minutes from the closest Public Transport and Supermarket, or 25 minutes by car from the Adelaide GPO. We can arrange transport to and from the site from the Bus stop given a bit of notice.
We've also bought a big ass markee to use as a 2nd learning area if the workshops get too big to fit in the hall.
I was thinking we could also have a bit of a party on the saturday night if people were able to chip in for a PA...
so yeah - if you are interested in something or doing something else - say so!
and yes - there will be a large campfire, and a big fire spin. EDITED_BY: Pyrolific (1117711328)

Durbs, how come you never bring your lady ANYWHERE with you yet you might be in Oz with her at the right time for this?! I think Mrs Durbs doesn't really exist, or, is only let out once a year for a special treat!
Let's relight this forum

Edit:
Oh, and is it byo kero, or donations, or is fire not good, or did you say that in the main post, and i missed it?
any ideas on costs at this stage? i'm going to need to plan finances around this to make it.
Edit 2:
And, given that i'll most likely be driving down, i can bring some/most of my audio bits and pieces. its not a PA, but there's enough stuff for some noise there, at least.
Edit 3:
Um, to prevent confuzzlation, can i suggest highlighting the changes to the list, by bolding, or **ing the one you change? or even just putting the one that you want to do down, then having a central updated list?
Just food for thought
Fourth and final edit (i hope) :
If anyone from WA is bussing/driving/not going directly from their town to adelaide, and going through/near whyalla and/or port augusta, drop me a line, and i'll try to organise lifts/meetups/something for ease of getting down there. EDITED_BY: MiG (1117039998)

Um, i can possibly supply a 4 man dome tent, but that'll depend on mums mood. I can't see any massive problems tho.
What about mcalcohol?is this a drinking included event, or would that be too dangerous re fire etc?
