It's been a while since I've posted here, you wanna know why? Because I have been in Paradise! Anyone heard of the Whitsundays in QLD? Tropical islands - pure loveliness!

I spent a whole week on a katamaran thing sailing (apart from when we stopped for a few hours on Hamilton Island on Wednesday which was beautiful)

I didn't go snorkling though, but I don't mind, I'm not a fan of sealife or seawater oh but except for dolphins and turtles! We saw heaps of turtles come to surface for air and on Thursday I spotted dolphins at about 6.30am, which I didn't expect to see! Oh and we saw heaps of stingrays, crabs and jellyfish too! We got to go to the shores of the coves/bays and go exploring each day in our 'dinghies' and hoon around there, parties on each of the boats most nights (no alcohol- school camp) and those parties consisted of cards, trivial pursuit, cordial, laughing, sing-a-longs, truth or dare and food!

And there was this place we stopped at called Whitehaven which is the epitome of classic paradise-like-beaches. White sand, clear greeny blue oceans, oh it was fantastic.

On the first night and the last night we stayed at a place in Airlie Beach called the 'Island Gateway', which was just a caravan park but a lovely one at that, their pool was about 30 degrees!

The feeling of being away from civilization, states away from this old country town into the great blue ocean. It was great to be in QLD, but I'd pick good old Victoria anyday!

I'll post heaps of photos when I can be bothered, right now I'm a bit tired!

Thanks for reading people! I'm in a fantastic mood and I feel like hugging everyone. (Real ones preferably though! ubblol)

Go back to Airley Beach when you are of age. I was 17 and really wanted to check out all the bars and clubs, but couldn't.

However that didn't stop me getting quite tipsy on the yatch! ubblol

Airlie Beach...we took a stop in there one night when we were on our trip round Australia and we fed parrakeets (they were covering all our bodies) and at night the possums came out and we fed them too...it was a beautiful place and I would love to go there again and spend more time....

I'm agreeing 20 degrees is bloody cold...25 is nice....30 is beautiful and anything above that is starting to get a bit too warm.
