Summer Location: Queen Victoria gardens.

The aim is not for a solely firetwirling night, but a night whereby firetwirlers, jugglers, contact jugglers, diabolo etc can meet. So feel free to bring friends who may be interested.

Night starts at 6pm for all those who are keen to learn. Fire starts after dark 7.00 - 8ish till late!

So.... the location is Queen Victoria Gardens

St. Kilda Road – opposite 'National Gallery of VIC' (Old Arts Gallery with spire)

The grassed area near the three raised palm trees. (Look out for the bronze statue hammer thrower)

With only a 5 minute walk over the princess bridge from Flinders Street station.

Here's the map

https://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=e...360&ie=UTF8

*WINTER LOCATION*

Under the Princess bridge (Southbank side). Where the Southbank Sundey market happens.

Thanks for listening, myco. I know a couple of other moves wink if ever you want to learn more.

Had a really good night tonight. Glad to see more people spinning. I do think Dave and Jo spinning really adds to the night.
Got a sore hand from all that drum playing. Self inflicted, no sympathy.

Yeah myco, I'm kinda tall, but I always use a shorter rope. It's easier to get double & triple unders ( & there freaking numerous variations) plus they look nicer with a shorter rope too wink

gday,
there is this gathering, if u go halfway between the wall of water at the national gallery and the spire, cross the road, there are three raised palm trees, we meet there. about 6ish on sundays.

also there is a wednesday gathering in Frankston, near the pier, not sure about turn out or what time though.

cheers, pete biggrin

Petey, those were incredibly vague instructions...:P

Hey free-rhythm, check out the first page of this thread, it has details on where we are, a little more cohesive than what Mr Pineapple head here has provided...

We spin at Alexander Gardens, which is down St Kilda Rd from Federation Square adn Flinders street station. If you have access to a Melways, you;ll find it fairly easy, it is 2 minutes walk away from Flinders st station...

Myco, that quote is a killer!!!! heheheeee!
