Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the
"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.
Today I mothered learning 441.
I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.
Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.
Otherwise its just favouritism really....

Ive got lots of new hat tricks...
reverse throw to head, foot to foot, trow to elbow, foot to elbow.
backroll to same arms, back of the neck roll, chest roll, spininig flat chest roll.

That's good then bluecat; you can confirm my age, and juggling ability, and invigilate my 5b runs. Don't know much about it; where is it? Notts Uni?
Refused to pick a ball up today; I'm conserving energy for half term (I'm off for a fortnight!) so I'll report any developments in my 5b.

Lemonkey, I've got to say, that's possibly the most pointless yet original way to say-
"Over the course of a 45 minute juggling session, I succeeded in managing to sustain my five club pattern for a duration a ten catches. This, in turn, I managed, four times, with my now battered hands."

Some club tricks...
423 - in singles with 2 as tapback/tap on
in singles with 4 as lazy
52two - two place club behind shoulder and drop to catch by waist
52two - two as club doing 360 on palm of hand
441 and 531 in flats
3c chops in flats
wrong ended flats
4c flats - 6 catches best
half shower (53) with 5 as wallplane flat almost solid
4club singles for ages
5 clubs rockin!
No new ball stuff that I can think of...but i've started using smaller balls (only decent ones I can get hold of round here) and 7b is soooo much easier!! 5 clubs has really sorted out my 7 cascade

wow, look at all the wonderfully complicated things that people have been learning, my brain feels like its about this >--< big...
well...
i managed a few rounds of 7441 on my right the other day, that was nice...
asynch 4 ball shower is coming on nicely...
5 balls gets a little bit longer everytime i do it...
still can't flash 7...
4 ball windmills are starting to work, and finally
after about 10 months of trying to get it to work, and 10 months of watching 414 and 144 messes slot into place;
the 441 mills mess is begining to seem like it might, one day, actually work :-)

12 catches with 5 clubs, and another broken fingernail.
I cannot do any of that "body" stuff with clubs, I can just about do one chin-roll... that's it.

This may or may not be of use to improve it, but on the second 4 (hands uncrossed) mine used to go straight up, rather than curve into the centre of the pattern, as is normally seen in 4bmm. If you concentrate on throwing the second 4 into the middle, the pattern becomes a lot easier to manage, and the 1 across the bottom is more accomplishable. Hope this helps!

Lemonkey, was that 531mm or just plain and simple 531. I can do 531, but not 531mm. can't really visualise what it looks like, and can't use jugglewiki's java juggle creator thingy, cuz my comp is playin up. What exactly does it look like?

they are usually used after a reverse shoulder throw (over the shoulder from front to back) but if you are toby walker you can do them as 2's as well
those 522's sound like they rock will!

The trick could be what I call the Umbrella (dunno if really called that; columns with the outer throws crossing over the top) distorted. So when doin the wimpy throws, one of the goes under the middle ball, and one over, in sync. Probably not, but its a possibility.

sync crossing fountain, 4 balls ive heard it called unbrella as well. Ive seen arches as something else (have you seen the juggle master java pattern called arches, or church windows maybe)

Just been practicing 5b cascade into catching a ball on my right foot, doing an around the world, recatching it, and flicking it back up into the pattern. Also, I'm practicing 5b into neck catch, and flicking it back into a 5b cascade.
