Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

That's good then bluecat; you can confirm my age, and juggling ability, and invigilate my 5b runs. Don't know much about it; where is it? Notts Uni?

Refused to pick a ball up today; I'm conserving energy for half term (I'm off for a fortnight!) so I'll report any developments in my 5b.

Lemonkey, I've got to say, that's possibly the most pointless yet original way to say-

Some club tricks...

423 - in singles with 2 as tapback/tap on
in singles with 4 as lazy

52two - two place club behind shoulder and drop to catch by waist
52two - two as club doing 360 on palm of hand ubbloco
441 and 531 in flats bounce2
3c chops in flats
wrong ended flats

4c flats - 6 catches best
half shower (53) with 5 as wallplane flat almost solid
4club singles for ages

5 clubs rockin!

No new ball stuff that I can think of...but i've started using smaller balls (only decent ones I can get hold of round here) and 7b is soooo much easier!! 5 clubs has really sorted out my 7 cascade smile

Word,

I been doing wrong ended flats also Will. cos they're great smile
I tried to make it into a shower but that was tricky, but I'm sure I've seen it somewhere...

I also did 3333-531531-3333 with 31 as backcrosses and pass behind back. I can do 531 complete behind my back with right hand doing the 5, so need to learn it with the left and then do it loads. ubbrollsmile

And slam type stuff with clubs where you do a big circle with one hand then slam the club into the other hand. Maybe that makes sense I hope.

And pirouttes that I'm not sure how to spell. But I caught a two-up a few times, and reckon three isn't actually as fully impossible as I always thought it was.
Also caught a splenid lovely 3-up half pirrowett (;))

Megafish, on the note of 441mm, I found that it took me a while for it to click. This may or may not be of use to improve it, but on the second 4 (hands uncrossed) mine used to go straight up, rather than curve into the centre of the pattern, as is normally seen in 4bmm. If you concentrate on throwing the second 4 into the middle, the pattern becomes a lot easier to manage, and the 1 across the bottom is more accomplishable. Hope this helps!

i learnt a funny 3 ball pattern last week, the balls move on three levels (one doing tennis over the top, one going through the middle and one doing normal throws down the bottom)

over the shoulder is a bit ambiguous i reckon...

a lazy is a catch, a bit like a penguin but caught behind you rather than out to the side.

they are usually used after a reverse shoulder throw (over the shoulder from front to back) but if you are toby walker you can do them as 2's as well smile

those 522's sound like they rock will!

Today, I managed 4bmm for over 100 catches, im guessing somewhere in the region of 120. Go me! Haven't tried 5b for ages; scared of the consequences if I beat Hexagonic. Nah, not really; I'll go start working on it now, and report back later.

And Lemonkey, the trick Mr Majestik is on about cannot be 753; thats a 5b pattern. The trick could be what I call the Umbrella (dunno if really called that; columns with the outer throws crossing over the top) distorted. So when doin the wimpy throws, one of the goes under the middle ball, and one over, in sync. Probably not, but its a possibility.

yep, i agree with mtg (and 100+ catches of 4b mm is super good - nice one!), that trick majestik suggests might be arches?

although, lemonkey may well be right - 75300 is a 3 ball trick and fits the description better than arches or 531 smile

the only thing i learnt recently was how to pirouette from a plie - spinny spinny smile

what's 'rainbow' tom?

arches (as ads says) is a cascade juggled with the throws as 'over-the-top, inverse, normal'.

is rainbow the same?

arches as i described it is the one juggled by juggle master: juggle master

and the basic 4b sync crossing fountain pattern i refer to as 'wimpy' ss: (4x,4x)
