Made in september. Badly as per usual.

A very very very big video, that I haven't had time to chop up or make smaller yet. And won't for the next two weeks. It's the fourth in the illegal/stolen/borrowed spinning series. And it's definatly the best one I think.

It features fred astaire, break dancing, jackie chan and some very weird contact. As well as other bits and bobs, as ever.

https://videos.tepookatoys.com/media/illicit.wmv ~ 220mb

Yes, it is HUGE. But fred astaire, I mean, how can you compress him? He's not even doing cane manipulation... wink

There have been about twenty on something new videos added over the past couple of weeks, but I'll leave you to ferret them out.

this is my main reason for posting here:

This list represents what I consider 'base' contact movements. Most other moves are combinationsof this moves, variations, or these movements transfered to a different plane. These moves can be broken down into their component parts, but the way I present them here is as symmetrical (hopefully) movements. So for instance you can end a SNES with a vertical steve arm roll, but you'd break the symmetry of the SNES, so I don't present that here.

They are in rough order of difficulty and impressiveness. It all depends on how you learn thou.

you are sooo lucky my monitor exploded.

Like I said, a same day performance of a fire show is not enough time to get everything in sync. Plus I messed it up a bit with the editing. But the basic cheese is still there.

and it is the same.

Off to bed with me.

I liked the vid thoroughly. It was fun to watch and kept my attention the whole time, yet still had some really neat stuff in it. I especially liked the girl with the socks, she gave me some fun ideas to work with. Music selection was decent for the most part. Only negative comment Ill make is that the part with the American guy could have been cut. Not really all that fun to watch and nothing really special bout his spinning (no offence).

Overall, nice flick MCP!

I wasnt trying to imply that they were. Was just saying that the part with the american didnt really fit in the video like the other clips, at least to me. Maybe theres some kind of inside humor or some other real reason that clip is in there, but to me, an American myself, it seemed more like just a random thrown in clip and even slightly making fun of Americans? I dunno. Was just giving my impressions of the vid as requested.

I thought it was fun to see the american in there.

Could be just coz i met him last week and i was gesturing at the screen shouting "I met that guy, i met that guy". The footage was a bit more visible than some of the other fire....

Might i ask the name of the move as performed by mcp in the end? Matrix yes? Read about but never see this before.

I reckon we should see more recorded from this angle too, superb.

Also, love red hair flick and cheeky smile combined with double poi throw. Both sweet and cool.

Nice green scenery too.

yeah, it was in fact the andre matrix (back half only) with the start cut off slightly by my dad.

'The amreican' had to go on, cos you can't just have an american come and visit and not put him in a video.... Plus if he wants to be petulant and not do anything interesting on camera, then it's his decision. wink He probably wasn't listening when I told him to do wraps, he was probably listening to his headphones... biggrin and hug to NYC.

I like it lots biggrin

I do however think it may be a bit too long. I think the best length for a video is under 5 minutes...otherwise i just find I get bored and start to stare at the screen and not at the video.

The music is kick ass. Is there a full list of which soings have been used? I think there is one from the film Beetlejuice...used for Laura.

But very well done Meg. hug

NO, no, no.... You're totally right on ICON.

I was doing cool stuff the entire time I was there. Spinning plates and throwing them about. Learning new isolations, hugs, and even a few of my first airwraps... Even spinning the good old bubble poi at EJC.

But Slacky Mc. Slacktop decided to put the most boring seconds of spinning ever. I think at the time I was listening to my headphones to drown out the godawful drum soup that was accosting my ears.

I would say I'd get her back for that but her life is doing a good enough job of that. eek

I'll get you MCP, and you're little dog too!
