Finals are NOT IMPORTANT!

Spinning is IMPORTANT!

Finals do not matter, cos they'll probably give you a degree anyway... Or worse-case, a bit of paper. ubbloco

My natural talent seems to have deserted me. So I've created a short guide....

How to censored up Exams:

1) Don't go to lectures.

2) If you have been to some lectures, do no revision.

3) If you have to do revision, do it on the day, or the day before the exam.

4) If you have done revision in advance, forget to go to the exam.

5) If you get complacent, try revising for an exam that's far away, thinking it's the next day. That way when it's 10pm you can remember the real exam and start revising. Since you've revised in advance for an exam do step 4.

6) If all else fails, consider getting up early in the morning to do revision, but then revise a post on your favourate forum and otherwise waste your time with witty puns.

Enjoy!

Similarly for postgraduates giving presentations

Write up your over heads on your bedroom floor the day before so you have no idea how big the writing will actually look but it doesn't matter because your handwriting is crap anyways

Don't think about what you might say - then the next morning spend the whole time trying to persuade a supposedly top of the range laptop to talk to a supposedly top of the range data projector enough to stop your beautiful movie files looking like a couple of pieces of rotatiting snot.

When all else fails and you get fed up of talking and everyone yawning at you - suggest the whole rooms goes for bacon sandwiches

biggrin

now blackass, you've got this postgrad presentation thing all wrong

1 - attend a rehearsal to decide just how to pose with a stick
2 - eat all meg's lollies
3 - go to teviot
4 - insist all jugglers 'brainstorm' onto overheads about your chosen topic
5 - return home, inspired, satisfied and fully prepared for a day of showing off to academics

the stick posing will come in handy when pointing at otherwise potentially dull overheads (but at least they will be decorated with lots of pictures of mice)
lollies are internationally recognised as brain food
jugglers have a "better life" and are therefore very clever
the bacon sandwiches were genius

smile
carry on, full power of course

xx

There's a cat outside my window. I've done my exam and all is good with the world. I will have a nap, the sun will be out when I get up and (it better be) I will play all day out in the lovely sunshine.

All because I revised for the wrong exam yesterday - YAY!
