Tell us all about it! We love hearing about our fellow poiers/staffies/misc. toyers succeeding with new things biggrin

It's just hard to keep up with it all sometimes, so if we keep it together you'll be certain to get a little feedback.

more filling in:

btb waistwraps the ways i couldn't before with turns - still missing one cos of a crappy bottom carry.

rev-rev flowers and a.s. flower the other way is coming along nicely (i saw jonnneeee ucof doing it perfectly which helped lots).

that 3bt weave with an inverted beat thing - got it backwards now too (no isolation on the inverted beat though frown).

ww airwraps.

bf airwraps (1 & 2 beat).

and my isolated weave now comes with free turns - proper isolated fountain is on its way...

turning an antispin weave is confusing me lots but it'll probably sort itself out once i can do it backwards... tongue

my shoulders ache today.

I have learned BTB thru wraps fwds and rvs and can even link them turning and keep it BTB. Butterfly Hyps to double wrist stall, or single wrist stall back into tthe weave or another regular hyperloop. I can consistently catch the poi behind my back and and can do some throws that switch hands so you catch with other hand keep turning and throw it in the other direction. Favorite new move regular hyperloop-rt hand throws it under left arm and catch behind the back. 3 bt weave fwds BTB. TTN BTB transitions to the front of my body. Follow time and same time BTB waist wraps where you reach around and poi are in front of body again. Butterfly time BTB WW is very beautifull. My Isolations are getting seriously isolated, I had to slow down beacause I was isolating them so hard that it was spinning closer teo the poi head and teh effect was so much different. I put red tape on the middle of my ball chin so my isolations stay centered.
I really want to learn same time Isolations that travel on all planes, soon, I will spend a couple of hours today trying. I love reading the tricks that poeple are learning. Every one should try a double wrist stall in the weave, and as the poi leave your arms start isolating them, they come off your arm looking like sticks. Good luck everyone see you at Burning Man!!!!!

dont make peoples heads turn, give them whiplash.

Wrap combo thing.
btb weave just beacause come out and into normal foward weave, wrap and hit your upper tighs(careful guys)and bring them around back and give them a little wrist flick thing and end up in btb reverse butterfly. Tried to do some flowers. Butterfly flower is easy. Anti-spins boggle my mind. Anyone feel kind enough to explain. PM me, i love you?

Don't mind me, just passing through.

I finally got the reverse 5 beat weavesmiley biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
I've been trying it for two weeks now and I can finally do it absolutely right! Ok... i'm even happier because i've been spinning only for 1,5 month now and this one I figured it out all by myself! It feels great cool and it doesn't hurt anymore lol ubbrollsmile
No seriously... you can't imagine how often the kevlar hitted me (well... maybe you can) but especially the first week it spent more time on me than on the air ubblol
Oh, it's going to be a glorious day!!! tongue

It's taken 3 years and lots of tears but I finaly got the reverse 3 beat!! (I know it's tame but it means alot to me).

But wait! There's more! I got the 5 beat (forwards) about 20 minutes later!!!

And just to finish it off! Hyperloops are now mine. I'm in such a good mood. I'm going to go spin for the next few hours.

I feel so much better. ^^

sparkey - it's a double crosser - your arms are threaded through each other. Try crossing your arms and then spinning like that wink

span a weird 3bt weave last night that has a bit of isolation on the crossover and 4 obviously defined planes - a weave that doesn't look like a chase but rather one arm going round the other in turn shrug

and i hammered in loads of stuff backwards that i should have been able to do years ago... redface

Just kind of move around weirdly and put the poi through the gaps that open up, isolate a bit and do under the leg stuff, reels, whatever. split them apart and join them together somewhere else. Probably looks crap but it feels weird.
