I really love the Graemlins but would it be possible to have a spinning Greamlin? Would it be easy to do one so it looks like fire spinning around.

Would anyone else like to see a Fire or Spinning Greamlin?

I think the weave one is cool. I think it would make a good aid for complete beginners to use as a teaching animation.

Where's it from?

Nice one!

It'd be nice to see the weave one in the HOP smilies box, have you considered sending it to malcolm and asking if he could put it in?

I'm sure that's not a three-beat weave.

Each poi is doing two rotations on each side, surely it's 2:1 and 1:2 in the three-beat?

This is fantastic, exactly what I was on about.

If Greame (or moderators) are reading this....would it be feasible to put them into the site? They do look fabulous!

Now anyone got one doing a windmill as well?!!

just count the number of beats fro the whole pattern, ie. the number of full turns it takes for one poi to get back in the same position. I think its a 4 beat.

If you watch it the same poi crosses first from both sides - same as a 4 beat.

Would be very cool to have some of those on the site.

now this is pure poi geekdom!
argueing over the number of beats an animated smiley is spinning
and i wouldn't miss it for the world

i concur with mr mcnorris and second the 4bt claim.

the nice thing is whereas there are two versions of this move for us, for a smiley with no hands there is just this one version.

fortunately, being a master of telekinesis, i am used to watching myself spin poi in the mirror and so can count the beats with no trouble

i have studied long and hard for this at great personal (and financial) loss. however, i am now one step closer to enlightenment and it all seems worthwhile.

I've always thought this one appropriate for some reason. Correct in spirit if not in methodology.
