I've been dying to tell people about this and now I finally can!
I'm sure that those of you who cant be in Liverpool would like to see it too so I'll post any images, videos, links and details up in this thread.
If anyone has any more please add them as this is sooooooooooooo cool!

There is a Facebook Group where lots of pictures are appearing. I'll be posting all of mine up soon. Cant spoil the surprise though.
This is just about the biggest piece of street theatre I have ever seen attempted. Its going to be amazing!

Weight – 37 tonnes
Height – 50 feet high
50 hydraulic axes of movement
Made from steel and reclaimed poplar
Moves at 2 miles per hour
Took 1 year to build
SPECIAL EFFECTS
7 different special effects:
Water • Flame • Smoke • Wind • Snow • Light • Sound
TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:
16 different cranes:
25 tonnes - 300 tonnes
300 different crane lifts

20 British musicians

After a night being watched by searchlight La Princesse (as she has been dubbed) has been removed to a safe location for testing...

sorry i never made it into town on friday night man! i made it in on the saturday though and met with lowan and a few of the manchester guys. Was well impressed, plus we got really close up, so close we could have touched it! i think the weather put alot of people off goin on saturday, as it was nowhere near as busy as i expected. I think that fact actually made the experience better, as everybody got a good view of la princess in all her finery!
