I know they were a big part of most of us our childhoods, but it seems as if most people grow out of them for some reason. So, I'd like to know. Does anyone else here still eat PEANUT BUTTER AND FREAKIN' JELLY SANDWICHES? I need to know.

The mars bars aren't my fault. I petitioned against them in the last election. They're awful, though. A friend of mine brought me one about a week after I moved to Edinburgh. I bit into it and I thought my teeth were going to rot away right then and there :\

Not too much. I had them on the rare occaision as a kid, and I still do from time to time. Mostly it was just straight peanut butter sandwiches for me though. My mom used to put margerine on the bread before putting on peanut butter and it was solidly disgusting...I remember that much, lol!

Aye, indeedy. 'Course, I can't really say anything as I've never tried it. I'm curious now *glances inquisitively at the kitchen*

Definately not sure about peanut butter & jelly/jam.. umm
But - peanut butter & banana (or nutella & banana) is the best - you have to zap the banana in the microwave first tho to make it mushy.... yum!!!
Now the topic has gone onto other combos how about cheese & jam.... hehe
& for nostalgia.. lemon curd....

Peanut butter and Jam, no.

Peanut butter, Banana slices, cottage cheese sprinkled with Nutmeg, Yes.

Don't knock it til you try it.

Edit: the bread has to be soft, and sliced off the loaf in big thick slices.

Gonna have to buy some peanut butter tomorrow methinks, it's been too long. Don't think I've ever tried it with jam, sounds interesting.

My sister used to eat bovril & mayonnaise sarnies, then upgraded to bovril mayo & ketchup sarnies, now that is a crackpot combination. Tried it once & nearly died.
