You see this is a problem i spin like every night and i scone myself in the nuts 
at least once a night am i spinning 
too fast cant seem to spin at a slower pace.

Check out the "Poi Moves" and there should be some help for that issue. If you search that forum and can't find a thread to give you some advice then feel free to make one, or post in a thread that seems kinda relevant.
There is no such thing as spinning too much...

When you said spin too much I figured there were people saying put down those poi and come back to us..

try doing the butterfly as slow as you can and as rythmically as you can, see if you can get a small bounce happening

Guys found a solution made some soft practice poi 
now i can practice and still have kids and not stuff the kevler on my poi's SpinningTrippingFlippingFyreFrog

i have the problem of going to fast so i listen to slow funky house music and trance and it slows me down and works a traet.

or you can try spinning in treacle, that also works

I was hittin myself in the nuts all the time til I made myself learn a few leg wraps, now I can either stall the poi so it only taps or send it too far and wrap/catch it with my legs.

I've spun too much before. When I first used my poi my fingers semi blistered it was more of a red rash on the inside of my fingers. Last night i spun for about half an hour in the cold and now i have 4 chubby fingers. Or at least they feel chubby.

practice practice practice...
i spin every single night!
sometimes 15 mins... sometimes 2 hours!
I have only ever (in 4 years) knackered myself 3 times!
and yes it puts you out for at least a hour!
practice practice practice!
the more you spin, the better you get! duh
or get a ball box... from any sports store that sells cricket equipement

My uncle Trevor used to work as a cleaner of those giant high-speed centrifuges used in the chemical industry- up to the sad day when one was accidently switched on while he was still inside.
If he'd survived the incident, I'm fairly sure that he would have been of the opinion that-

No. Not possible.
But there is hitting yourself too much (concentrate on planes and get ribbon poi..may be girly but great for practicing)
And there is DEFINITELY such a thing as being on HoP too much
.....Can't juggle balls but I sure as hell can juggle details....

maybe there is something as spinning too much... but i think it is very rare. there is a thing as not spinning enough however.

I came back from travelling to find that she had like 2000 posts more than me. Which, considering she wasn't even on the boards when i left, is alarming. So, obviously, I had to get back the title....
