So its simple... Stars, sports, your mum, the tree u planted last week, the star you stare at at nite, the sun, the chicken you had for dinner.... Idol go here, follow it up with a reason or something and we're off

I'm gonna throw MacGuyver up for a vote. A man who can make anything work, was he even human???? I think not.

I truly idolise one of my mates Rory. we have been mates for 2 1/2 years, we speak to each other nearly every day. He's very talented and he's good at everything he attempts. He's a film maker, ex front man of a legendary local band but is now working on other musical projects, and he's a webdesigner. I've told him I idolise him ages ago and he said I was weird lol he's cool!!!

Steve Vai. I've been a guitarist for most of my life and have always looked up to his playing, showmanship and sheer creativity. He can play almost anything that people throw at him and then find ways of improving it or completely changing it and making it his own. And then there's his love of Bulgarian wedding music...

I totally agree biggrin

plus he also designed some damn nice guitars ubbrollsmile

We are the music makers, We are the dreamers of dreams,
Wandering by lone sea-breakers, And sitting by desolate streams;
World-losers and world-forsakers, On whom the pale moon gleams;
We are the movers and shakers of the world for ever, it seems.

I don't really idolize anybody...no-ones caught my picky eye yet

A couple of balls short of a full cascade... or maybe a few cards short of a deck... we'll see how this all fans out.

These aren't people I idolize, but people who are my role models. I find it's much safer to aspire to be characters of fiction than it is to aspire to be real people, because they're never revealed to have done cocaine or other stupid things. And you can know the character much better than you can ever know another human being wink biggrin

After much consideration, I find that the view is worth the asphyxiation.

Indiana Jones

He was honest, determined, brave & respectful; and he had cool theme music. He always did the right thing. He was also a believable hero, mostly because he was fallable. He was one of those heros for whom things didn't always go his way, such as knocking out a Nazi, and finding his shirt wouldn't fit! Classic.

I like the bit about characters and aspiring to be like them... makes lots of sense!
I'd stick bruce willis in there cuz he's had amazing roles, he's an amazing guy outside of his characters... and he got to kiss leeloo in 5th element and be a badass good guy in die hard trilogy
Oh, and johnny depp. That guy has been in so many good roles and chooses them to reflect upon himself!
