Ok well technically there are 3bt versions, but they're more like weaves with weird crossover points, and not really worth bothering with as they're hard.

So I had to peek inside the thread... Because I thought the title incredibly funny.. (Go nyc)

But had to post because as I get down I see this dude's ONLY post on hop is quoted above...

And I found that incredibly funny... I mean.. Its not like spherc, you don't need an id to troll here.. So in a way its like he has an id just in case he gets the chance to make a post like this..

ROFLMMFAO..

if they are just wierd weaves does that mean that the 2 and four beat versions are not???????? confused

2 and 4 beat windmills cork screws and are still weaves it is just in a different plane. What you have said is effectivly that 2 and 4 beat weaves are not infact weaves but something else.

hehe bit argumentative for my first post sorry hug

I'm confused.

Spiral, are you suggesting that a 4 beat corkscrew is easier than a 3 beat?

And in terms of wierdness, I'd say a 2 beat corkscrew is way less wierd than a 3, and a 4 is essentially a 3 beat mirrored on top or bottom.

Since I don't really understand what the above points are, I'm not agreeing or disagreeing. Just saying things that I think are true hoping to fit in the conversation somewhere. biggrin

Well, shall we go?

there are 3 bt windmills, two of them, but one is the wrist action for the four beat done at the front only, and the other is done at the back only. there are also three and five beat corkscrews, depending on whether you start your corkscrew thinking in a windmill type way or a weave type way. it's to do with if you use a shoulder turn to change which poi is leading during the move. it's also why there is a turning windmill, but not a wheel plane windmill...

again i beg to differ there is 3 ways of doing a 3 beat windmill or cork screw it is esentaily the same as doing a 3 bt weave you can three beat weave normaly or you can do a 4 beat on 1 side and a 2 beat on th other side.

also just something for thought as windmill and cork screw are just weaves it is therorecticly possable to do 9 bt of both

you can do a 3bt corkscrew just like a 3bt weave... you just have to move it a little off center... odd beat weaves need cross arms.. whihc windmills, watermills, and corks don't have because they take place dead center.. and thus are even handed.. however, if you reach, or move them a little off center, you can get odd beat corks easily..

just lean side ways and d a 3bt weave (realtive your torso... and after a while you can clean it up into a straight up and down cork.

no they're not. :P

but my explaining with words skills are beneath my explaining with movements skills, so unfortunately all i'm going to say is: play around! move in ways that feel foreign and funny little cute moves crop up!

yay!

those that know, dont say. those that say, dont know.
