Hi all~ biggrin

Pretty excited today. Got my head around Adobe Premiere, divx, virtualdub and spymac webhosting to bring to you my first poi video!

woo..

Yes well anyway. Just a couple of notes beforehand. I've only been poi-ing 3 months now, so my planes are horrific- I especially apologise in advance for so cruelly murdering an antispin flower. frown

But yes. All just a bit of fun really.

Ry & fun with poi 30/04/05 (right click, 'Save Target As')

Catch up soon hug

Good work for 3 months mate! wish I had even understood what isolations were then and I still can't do BTB properly. Nice smooth transitions, and good to see a smile. biggrin

Only crits: it was a bit too dark to see what your hands were doing sometimes (just need to film at dusk to get the right light levels), the camera was a bit too close in sometimes, and I would've liked you to stay in some of the moves for a couple more beats. But like I say, really good for 3 months, you should be proud!

Oh and I think Meghan posted in the wrong thread...

LazyAngel: Thanks- yeah couldn't really help the darkness- it wasn't a planned poi filming, but more a impromptu thing at a party. Yeah, watching it now I get what you mean. Always work in progress wink

mcp: Glowsticks bits- my fault for not realising lol ubblol Thanks anyway (as obliged as you were to say it was good seeing how I had already accepted the first compliment) ubblol

lol Arkos! Speaking of getting imported, it might be quite difficult.. Adya_Miriyana and I have been discussing self postage for ages- it seems impossible, and we're only talking domestic still!

Mot: would love to have more online, but there's a good chance you'd just be seeing more of the same. I'll be working on it though. Thanks again.

Pink: Probably am lying. Possibly 3 months and a week? Hmm.. I bought my poi when I registered, took a couple of days to come- I say 3 months and a couple of days biggrin

Orbit: Thanks, even if I'm taking that with a massive pinch of salt. Unless you're referring to my wonderful beanie ubblol

Anyone who could give you four arms could just as easily give you 5. You do need a hand for the tea remember.

Hmm. Might pay to ask for an extra mouth too.

Actually, if you had very small saxophones, possibly even little toy plastic ones, you could put handles on them and voila!
