so today i was sitting at the bus stop waiting for the bus, as one does at the bus stop. now picture these two school girls, the sort of girls that spend alot of time on their apperance and want to look older and more mature than they are. when i noticed them walking along their walking went from the ah la natural into that omgtheressomeoneifancy, but i dont want to look silly infront of them, oh no ive forgotten how to walk so now im going to walk all rigid like while trying to look cool and not look at them directly but still look. the poor girl closed to me made eye contact and being the smiley guy that i am i smiled and she tripped over nothing and almost fell to the ground, needless to say she was very embarised and her and her friend walked off really quickly.

hehe i always wonder why the brain shuts down when u see someone u really fancy and forget how to speak and do other such everyday things

I have a tendency to fall over quite of my own accord.
I can manage this from walking or standing and have fallen off the kerb several times.
Thinking about which leg muscles are contracting with each step will also invariably topple me. smile

I'd hate for any boys in the vicinity to get the wrong idea eek

nevertheless, good call there Ben
we might have forgotten how much all the girls want you now that you've changed your sig wink

What i really hate is when your walking along the street staring into space, then realise your staring in the direction of someone reeeeeeally hot. Im always really embarrassed coz i dont want them to think im checking them out. But its hard for them not to get that impression when ive been staring at them forever. ubblol

Ben's vanity aside, I don't think the girl's reaction had anything to do with his shaggability.

It's only been within the last few years that I have not 'forgotten how to walk' when my path takes me past a member of the opposite sex, especially when there is a group of them. And yeah, bus stops are the worst places, cos the people there are just sitting and waiting, usually with nothing better to do than (inadvertantly) stare at people as they walk by. The reason that my walk is no longer affected, is because I am no longer so insecure and have more confidence. If people wanna stare at me, for whatever reason, that's fine. The conclusions they reach when they stare are of no real concern to me. Therefore, my mind is not 100% occupied with what the people looking at me are thinking, and my movement is not affected as a result.

I guess it's a matter of perspective. You see, in Ben's world the girls are checking him out and therefore forget how to walk. In my world, people were checking me out and I forgot how to walk because I was sooo hyper aware that they were looking (never tripped over though. thank god). Now, I know they're still checking me out, so I increase my hip swing and maybe, if I'm feeling energetic, give them a hair flick too. Poor bored people - it's the least I can do, really. I live to serve. It's the most important aspect of being ornamental.

wink

lol. I hope no one reading this takes it the wrong way. I'm not really that self absorbed. Welcome to my sense of humour. biggrin

It's the best when they are wearing high heels when doing that, and a tight white tube top. Then you just making clucking noises as they walk past and they look offended ^.^'
/me has lots of fun in his school during his lunch hour, while he's not juggling or spinning.

I think the most funniest is the shoes girls/women wear. Now there are many STUPID types of shoes one can wear, to make it so they not only forget how to walk, but in doing so can't walk. The shoes don't allow you to walk normally.

I personally always wear flat comfortable shoes, and if you think that says something about my sexual preferences then you are totally wrong. I just like comfortable shoes, and the ability to always be able to run, do a handstand or cartwheel etc, if my mood so takes me. These are things one can not do in shoes with heels.

I also care about my feet, and I realise I need them to support me for the rest of my life, and in good working order too.

SO I say, *middle finger* to shoes that make women uncomforable (in more ways then one)

- what is it with wearing and walking in silly uncomfortable shoes anyway?

- Do you fellas really find women who can hardly walk because of their shoes more attractive?

ok, sorry for the hijack, but I was still on topic - kinda.

biggrin

Yeh and they prey on vulnerable ones to buy the newest trend in uncomfortable shoes, not to mention stupidest fashions - HELLO the eighties was bad the first time around!! C'mon I'm only 25 and I am seeing it again!!! What the??? You can’t think of anything better?!#$#@

- don't mean to cause offence to anyone by this outburst against “women’s” magazines, however it would probably offend those who are offended by this, that I don't watch TV either (although I have been known to watch the Simpsons) That's it tho!!

teddy bear pants?

I'm not the type who is stared at... unless I am being random, but then it is looks of "what in the world???" not "wow!"

however, I used to be quite good at tripping over when I saw a fine specimen of the other gender... now I dont really care as much... so I only embarass myself occaisionly... not every day like I used to.

However, i wonder if it is anything to do with wanting to get ourselves noticed which does it to us... after all, embarrassing ourselves does get us noticed, even if it is for the wrong reason...

As for footwear though... I dont do the heels thing, unless it is like for the formal or whatever... because, well... has anyone ever been camping in the middle of no where or hiking, or anything like that in heels and been comfortable?

and Cosmo says What?!!!!! i don't buy mag's mainly 'cause they are full of how unfashionable and unatractive i am in their eyes.

As for the 80's Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh it wasn't ALL that bad and ok right now trying to think of the good things that came out of the 80's apart from the majority of my new friends, is getting rather hard.

of cause the girls had another weapon in the 80's to go with those killer heals..... shoulder pads.
