No, not real. The "claim" has been investigated dozens of times, and it's a hoax site. It's NOT REAL. There is NO NEED to pass it on.

I'm weird. Just work through that and we'll all be fine.

Don't complain. See, living in the USA there's a reason I'm a tea-toataler. The BEER HERE STINKS!!!!

And I live about an hour's drive form the place they make Miller Beer. And I get nausiated driving past it.

Well that and drinking beer has a tendancy to hurt like a... (I won't try to bypass swear filters, so add your own here) and causes me to pound tables in absolute pain for 30 minutes per sip...

I'm weird. Just work through that and we'll all be fine.

geee, thanks Firepoise.

Beer in the states does taste like crap...I mean when the only way you can stand to drink it in the first place is because you ran out of everything else and are too drunk to notice a difference, ya that's bad. That's why I opt for a white russian or bloody mary these days if I really want something to drink. Usually, it's just a glass of water for me though. I think life is grand just sober, so I don't need anything to alter it.

If we were invading countries for beer, don't you think we'd go back to Germany or something? I mean Iraq isn't what I'd call a beer-rich nation.

Sorry, everything I have posted in this thread has been simply to take the piss (for example, I don't really think people from Dublin are selfish bastards. Lovely Lisa lets Aidan and Steph and I stay at her house for free almost every weekend smile )... I should remember to put on an icon thing to make it clear for all biggrin

I realize this post is off topic but this whole thread seems to have gone off topic anyhow. biggrin

The big brands are crap, but to be fair there are some good microbrews (and I know saying so puts me at risk of sounding like an oh so precious beer snob but whatever wink). The Lagunitas brewery in No.Cal makes a really good IPA and Pale Ale, and of course we have Anchor Steam here in SF, which a lot of people love but I prefer Sierra Nevada. All pretty decent beers. Better than Bud, that's for sure. Anyhow, beerchug

Hehehehe. I don't drink beer. This may be why I don't like Guinness. I do drink vodka and orange though. Nice girly drink. Occassionally whiskey and rum. Spirits are grand biggrin

tee hee, just being lil' ol' snobby me.

But yes -- the grand spirits! I used to do vodka and orange but haven't since an unfortunate incident years ago. I'm with you on the whiskeys though -- I like bourbon particularly.

Lol, I know that feeling.

But I love vodka and orange because it makes me feel less hungover the next day. I have a particularly gross vomiting story... but I don't think it's appropriate here. PM me if you really want the gory details ubblol

Anyways, I'm going home now, then I'm off for a fun-filled weekend, so I'll see you all next week

Take care xxx
