Where can I get fairly cheap UV paints/fabric dyes?
Years ago I painted a large white awning with multi coloured UV lizards in sunglasses. Sadly the awning was in my brothers garage when it flooded and is now just a mud stained mildewed mess.

The place I got the original uv paints from has closed down and everywhere else I have looked charges the earth for them.

I'd like to make another one because it made finding your tent at festivals so much easier and it offered shelter if it really piddled down.

well as someone who has been making UV decor for psytrance parties for years, I've never found a cheap supplier. we always water our stuff down with a suitable mixer.

fluro fabric dye would be cool - never seen it tho...it obviously must exist??

wait, i don't think i understand, do you mean uv as in glows under UV light - in which case you need a uv torch... or UV as in just glowy of it's own accord??

did just find this though... covers both options methinks...

Thanks Non. Its the UV I wanted but the glow looks cool too.

Durbs gave me a link to some on eBay earlier. 9 colours and a uv bulb for £30 which isn't a bad deal.

Thanks everyone that replied.

Hi all...
i used to paint UV backdrops for clubs and parties - and i found the absolute cheapest way to do it was to get childrens ready-mix fluorescent paint, then mix it with PVA glue to make it waterproof. So thats about £1 for the paint and also v cheap for the glue (big tubs in B&Q). It can be a bit gloopy to paint with tho..
For better results, try system 3 acrylic fluoro paint - cheapest place ive found is on www.artdiscount.co.uk. Also theres Rosco theatre paints which are really bright and u can get invisible white too, but its weelll pricey.

Tomorrows World isnt on anymore...Does that mean its tomorrow now?
