I live in NYC (the place, not the guy), NY, USA. And speaking as your faithful financial district pedestrian, I've got a story for you. I was standing on the corner waiting to cross the street to get to the train station right behind Trinity Church. A cab zoomed past, swerving, and almost hit everyone standing there with me.
One woman stepped out into the street and started screaming after the cab, "Idiot! Stupid! President Bush!"
I guffawed, and she turned to me and started laughing, too.
"I love my president," she said, "but why does he have to be so stupid? Why is my president stupid?"
