Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the

"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.

Today I mothered learning 441.

I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.

Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.

Otherwise its just favouritism really....

4b overhead is badass - i ALWAYS use it when i warm up.

The factory is a lovely 3b trick, just a tad quicker (and a f*ck site harder) than the machine...

I think that the ball you hold and move in the machine is a differnt one on each rotation, whereas the factory uses the same ball each time for the holding and moving.

I think...

machine is one ball going sideways

Factory is all balls going sideways, dropped and then thrown in a diagonal across. A bit like an upside down shower.

There's some good videos of the "machine" and the "factory" on Wildcat Jugglers

What we've called the machine is up there as theFactory

and what we've called the factory is up there as the Inverted Shower

hope all those names don't make no-ones head explode, its funny coz i would have called them all chuz wungers

as for the geeza wanting to know about siteswaps for the machine Siteswap.net (its up there as the robot, hehe) the applet runs throught the siteswap whilst its running, (but you might want to put the speed down a tad)

happy juggling geezas, have fun

i'm off to sort out my 423 mess

i juggled clubs a bit at the weekend smile

am getting to grips with 45123 on both sides - running 12345 seems a bit more attainable now.

i got bored with dropping 4 clubs but i simplified and learnt to run 44403.
444044403 is a bit harder but i can actually *feel* it doing me good.

and no hand bruises either smile

i learned how to stick a ball into my mouth with my right and take it out with my left over the w/e and keep something like a pattern going

(prob not the best pattern to use but it works)

now im learning now to do it in revese, and how to do it with the same ball continiously, not a diferent ball every time!

oes anyone have a name for the trick?

coleman: 12345 with clubs, there are A lot of great variants I was playing with last year.

The obvious version is:

flat pass 1

hold 2

single 3

Double 4

Triple 5

then you could go and mix them up a lot:

1 half pass (to correct the wrong end of the 5)

2 hold or pop single or any funky 2

3 half spin

4 single

5 as a floaty1.5 spin

now start adding back cross and shoulder throw.... mmmmmmm good luck

oh and the 4's as flats is particularly juicy

I'm sure you already figured them out, but I like them, and was enjoying being nostalgic for club juggling biggrin

Patrick and I were discussing the sounds the balls make when you juggle Will, they go something like:

fa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doom............. ........fa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doom.......... ........fa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doom

it sounds great biggrin

...............fa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-doomfa-dom-dom-d-d-d-d-da.......fa-doomfa-doomfa...etc

more like a firework display than a juggling routine.

anyway "i just learnt a new move"!!! 534 to the point of saying; yeah, i can do it.. (although so far its not past 5 revs)

got a few 633s in as well, that was nice (i actually felt like i was juggling 4 balls for a little bit)

423 mess, its been twisting my mellon for a while now (and 2bags's as well with any luck) but at last i reckon i know what it is and i'm doing it.

315 mess (thats 531 with the 5 on the U ball right will?) works, not as well as it could, but with a little encouragement it'll be a propper little ripper, the other 531 messes seems a bit more realistic now (no idea about all the 441 messes though).

oh yeah, and the behind the back weave backwards with poi, but i'm not really to bothered about that, lol

I juggled seven aerotechs on Friday night

i so read "artichokes" then ubblol now that i wanna see

while i didnt really learn anything new, i scared the sh*t out of myself when lying on my back juggling 3 80mm acrylics above my head/face and one slipped. i ducked my head to the side just in time and it clipped my headphone, making a loud "THUNK!" noise as it smashed into the ground right where my face was. gotta love near death experiences ubblove

444044403 is pretty solid now and i made meself do 50 catches of two clubs in one hand with both hands separately.
need more building up practice patterns i think cos 4 clubs still doesn't work...

i got 12345 (just pass-hold-single-double-triple for now drew! hug) going for up to 5 cycles too though.

it turns out, that if you think about what you want to do first and stick to it, half an hour's practice can be very productive ubbrollsmile
