Well, seeing as we are starting to take over the
"Offical HOP "I just learnt a new move" thread", I thought we should contain this bit just to jugglerisng and the throwing and dropping of balls, clubs, rings and other miscellaneous juggling props.
Today I mothered learning 441.
I had a few throws of 531 but only 1 catch. I think my 5 is too high.
Note for the mods: I DEMAND on behalf of the jugglers on this site, as has been done with the aforementioned "Poi moves thread", that this one is made a sticky thread.
Otherwise its just favouritism really....

warning: on-topicness approcahing...
will taught me two lovely multiplexes last night - cheers will
5 balls is feeling more solid again (but i need to lift some weights to get my runs longer again methinks) - i caught (5)645645(5) a whole bunch of times and (5)744744(5) a good few times too.
gonna practice these starting with me left hand and then i'll be ready to start trying to run them
for the first time ever i caught 66661 out of a cascade (to collect) which is alright.
and i have a new trick to learn: gatto's
and i tried 6 balls with me new balls last night andout of about 40 attempts (all at least 6 catches but still most runs ending in a drop - must stop doing that), i managed a run of 18 catches async

Good job on learning the siteswaps, and getting a decent run of 6!
I've just been practicing half-showers recently, to get my left hand throwing on the outside, higher than the more powerful right arm. I've tried 645 withthe 6 from my left, and I've only managed it once.

Last night I found out I could do the Factory/robot in both directions, and that one where it is the same ball being pushed across the top each time.
Which, once again, was nice.....
oh..and a 5b half shower is getting along nicely. dont know if I mentioned that in the post after the BrJC.

Have you tried alternating hands so that the weaker one throws over the top? It's bloody weird.
Yesterday - I managed a fair few catches of a 5b shower, I've never managed to flash to before. Also had three rounds of 6661.

lemonkey - doing runs of hi-lo 4b showers really sets you up for 5b showers.
but 6661...? should that be 66611 or 66661?

Anyone got a decent explaination for reverse mill's? Supposedly it's "the same" but with one ball doing something different, but that's not helping me understand it much at the moment...

When I learnt Burkes I forgot how to mess as well, what an awkward feeling!
That tutorial can be confusing, maybe observing the pattern will help... although, I still cannot do it yet.

Wow, TRMM has to be the easiest trick I ever learnt. Those few JAG tutorials are awesome! I already learned Rubensteins from them. The explanation is brilliant!

Dunno, if I do it the way the tutorial says then it seems the 3rd (underhand) ball is the lead ball, not the second. Ho hum, it's all confusing, but I think I've got it. I'll have to ask a proper juggler though just to check

i've been playing around with ways of going into (6x, 4) and (4x,6) recently. I can go into both patterns straight from cascade, with no 6's 7's or anything, just straight into pattern. (4x6) is easier - from 5 throw 64x2ish and then keep pattern going. on tuesday i got into 6x4 from 5 with a 6x followed by a hold on other hand and then into (6x4)
Learnt 7club 3 count last night, not as difficult as i imagined

I have recently become interested in juggling and i have learned how to juggle 3 clubs. Yesterday i went to leeds juggling convention and i learned how to juggle 4 balls (cascade) and i was shown a load of cool tricks with 3 balls...still trying to do those though.

I don't mean to be picky but I think you mean 4 ball Fountain.
I find it amazing that some people can progress so fast with juggling, it's taken me years to learn all the tricks I know.
What tricks are you learning? Maybe I can give you some advice.
