I agree, the opening ceremonies were awesome. Just think how much planning and imagintation it took to put that together! i think that face was cool too, especially when the guy on the cube was revealed. For anyone who missed it, it was a beautiful depiction of Greek and Olympic history. The costumes & makeup artistry was spectacular. I heard somewhere that Greece has spent over 10 millionUSD to be able to hold the Olympics because of all the new facilities they built & the additional security.

PS to Kind of Badgers, I do not mean to fight in war, but to fight for the Gold medal in athletic competition.

anyone watching this year's winter olympic opening ceremony? they had loadsa pyrotechnics to kick it off with choreographed capoeira, skate boarding and roller bladers with ecologically friendly fire coming out their haTS. apparently you make it from the spores of some alpine flower...

and now we're onto giant ballons stuck to people's heads!?!?

I tried watching it now in bed.

But then I started to fall asleep, and decided that 7.30 was far to early for me to be going to sleep..

So I got up again..

From what I saw it was very pretty smile
