but now I have left the confinds of London. And I'm of for a trip a round the world. ubbloco juggle clap bounce2 bounce

As im not in the greatness of the London juggling and spinning clubs. I thought that I would start this of to keep up with you lot.

And to keep you informed of what is out there in the big wide world.

So the latest moves that I am working on are.

1 Flats:

most of all im trying to do flat back cross.

But also 522 combos with one of the 2's caught under the leg

also box and 441's

2 stalls:

Im trying all type of stalls on different places, feet legs, shoulder and the chin.

do you have any more to add to this.

that I could be trying

hows the 5bmm then?

umm

Ive decided the next trick i am going to learn is 642 smile

which is what I couldnt work out.

Then yesterday when I read about 654321 and put it into a siteswap tingy and then I jumbled the numbers round.

and lo and behold, its what I wanted to learn to for ages.

Tonight is juggling society.
There shall be fire after it.

Just had a good 5club session. made atlest 15 catches 3 times.
Found out that if I step forward under the pattern, then I seem to be able to hold a tighter pattern.
That should help when me and hex try 9 again.

good glowball deals from passepasse at the moment:

five glowballs for the same price as two aerotechs (~£55)

this deal is crazy so i think they have possibly got it wrong (i think they may mean one pirouette not three) but i reckon you could insist that they give you the deal as stated on the site:

buy three glowballs, get three white pirouettes free!

nottingham tomorrow biggrin juggle bounce

right, i've had a good search of HOP and have found nothing so with any luck one of you juggling type people may be able to give me the answer which i seek,

how on earth does this juggling whilst spinning poi thing work,

i have been told by various people about the jedi like ability to spin poi and juggle at the same time but i remain confused, i've tried it but to no avail.

the legend as it goes, is that throughout history there have been great men, empowered by the will of the great magnet (about which all things spin and are tossed) to juggle a cascade and spin a weave at the same time.

this raised an issue for me, since as a juggler i would assume that spinning a weave would produce a millsey type pattern; but no, those who have witnessed this great convergence of skills have assured me that it was a cascade pattern to which they bore witness? are they confused? or perhaps hypnotised but the jedi about which the poi were spinning? indeed, maybe these foolish minds had become entranced by the great magnet him/herself? or maybe they were just making the whole thing up in an attempt to make me go mad?

is there anytruth to this myth?

the great magnet moves in mysterious ways, who would dare challenge the curiosity of his will.

All i know so far is that if i can't work it out soon i will most certainly go mad,

anyhelp (with not going mad that is) would be greatly appreciated:-)

if you're set on having both poi and balls in your hands at the same time then that's poiggling and by far the best person i've seen at it is devkev. the following is a video (taken by orbit) of devkev doing a poi butterfly and a three ball cascade simultaneously:

poiggling

he can do lots of other things with it, and he was working on doing a weave at the same time. i can't see how you could weave while doing a normal cascade. it could possibly be done in a mills' mess pattern, but i reckon it would probably be easier in a mike's mess (which would look like a cascade with a poi weave going on under it).

this brings me to the other answer to your question. if you want to feel the satisfaction of doing a weave and juggling at the same time you can do it with just three clubs in your hands (well, you can do it with three balls but it doesn't feel much like a weave) by doing a mike's mess. this is a slow cascade where you weave the two clubs that aren't in the air while waiting for the third one to come down, then throw up the next one and do the same thing. it's a bit like an exaggerated 522 mills' mess and it's easiest to do on doubles. here's jack kalvan doing it in a slightly sloppy fashion (clearly he doesn't do poi).
