Haa haa! How cool.

You know...I hadn't written a letter by post for someone in AGES...until Mand headed off to work this season. I've written...7, and am working on the 8th right now.

I just hope she can read my handwriting.

Anyway, I'll send a note your way at some point, Kit!

I love letters too.

I love writing when i'm watching TV or something. I'm such a fidgeter i can't just sit and do nothing. I am always writing things even if i dont post it, or do anything with it just to throw it in the bin.

Therefore i shall make more practical use of my paper and need to write when i'm bored and write letters... biggrin

Is anyone else going to put up their address to write too? ubbangel

i love getting random letters, but i'm wary about putting my address up on a public forum. you never know who else is browsing around. i'd be happy to give my address tho to anybody thru a PM. but i'm also a lazy bum and i much prefer sending emails over letters. so i'd feel bad if someone sent me a letter and i didn't send one back frown

Yeah what harm could come of it really? Besides anyone could look you up in the phone book.

I have something to send you in the mail. I do a zine (short for magazine, much like a newsletter). And my last issue talked about poi! So I'll send that out.

It's called bubblishis. biggrin

they could look you up in the phone book - but posting it on a website encourages people, they can also find out a lot about you in other ways from your web history and stuff - it would amaze you some of the things people can find out just from you being on the net and leaving a trace.

safer to PM i reackon. smile

That's SO funny, because last night on chat, Ela and I swapped addresses, and are going to write to eachother. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE getting letters!!

And I never do get them *tear* So, Kit, I will definately send you one! Filled with useless nonsence, of course!

However, I agree with Pounce, but only on the point of not posting my address quite so openly. If people send me theirs, or ask for mine, I'd be glad to oblige, and let them know. And then send the letters away!! biggrin

(which reminds me, I should go get stamps!!)

i'm a single female living alone in a city that i know no one. and my address is not listed in the phone book. my first initial and my last name is only.

I love random letters, but until I know that someone is an actual nice person (as opposed to a fake nice person) then I give out my work address. That way, if anyone is silly enough to stalk me, then they have to deal with the other 20 people who work in here with me!

So, if anyone is silly enough to want to write me a letter (I'll hold with the thought that they make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside) then I can PM my work address (I'm not putting it on the website in case anyone here finds it and realises that I don't spend all day working!!!)
