sounds like a great night - are you the promotor as well as a resident?
i've been to a few jungle do's in southampton (my ex used to go to uni there) and a couple of them were at the guildhall - lovely inside with a nice marble cool down area in the lobby.
got some good memories of dancing to rat pack on carpeted floors.
zinc was pretty regular down in soton back then - he still play much locally?

Glad you liked the Guild mate, it really is an awesome venue. We're not the promoters who did it back in those days but we're hoping we can do as good if not better for the scene down here.
Zinc is up in London mostly these days but he's coming down early next year to play for us. Def one of the best DJ's in the game at the mo...
Please spread the word to any mates you have living in the area, good night guaranteed!
Peace,
Dave

in fact, if any london bound dnb heads are stuck for something to do saturday night, there's a lovely night @ 13 in soho on saturday called 'informal'.
much smaller affair than salinger's - he has mampi swift and informal has kwest (swift's brother!).
'tis a great night out with guaranteed good music and a very friendly atmosphere
We're back at Thirteen in Soho on the 25th October for another night of break-related shenanigans. Special guest on the night is Kwest from Charge Recordings (the legendary Mampi Swift's label). Kwest is well known for his energetic mixing and fresh, bang up to date selections. As usual residents Hi-Rise and DJ Guv will be providing DnB and Old Skool. We might even throw in some Hip-Hop for good measure!
Informal @ Thirteen
13 Gerrard Street, Chinatown, Soho Nr Tube: Leicester Sq. Open 9pm - 5am, and the bar is open til 4.30 Entry is FREE before 11.
[runs away before salinger kicks his arse for posting alternative nights on his thread hey, at least it got another bump ]
q: why did the lion get lost? a: because jungle is massive.
