Autumn is well and truly here and winter is approaching rapidly. And so PiP shall hibernate until next year.

But not without one last spin on a winter's day! On November 1st we have some special guests in town:
Cassandra - Exquisitely beautiful dancer and world famous French Frog
Shibaki - Barefooted extraordinaire from Florida
PK - Pierced wonder and founder of PiP
Nat - The spinning angel with a killer smile

So to celebrate we're going to hope the sun shines and have a PiP!

Thanks to everyone who made it down to PiP this year, espically you hardcore spinners who were there come rain, wind and cold! It's been a wicked summer!

I third that idea - it's my birthday on the 28th and I'm not spending that weekend cooped up inside

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Kinudin, it's weekly, as are most London events. The 10th is the EJC so me and a lot of the crew will be of throwing things around in Denmark, hence I might get UCOF to act as international liason for ya UCOF?

Awesome

Is anyone not gonna be at EJC? Because we're only going to be going as far as Stonehenge and to Paris (and little things in between) for about a week and a half.

27th of July? I dunno. Are there any other fire spinning parties that day? Or is this pretty much it? Call my people and have them see if I'm free.

And I'm not sharing any of my cake with Kali. I want my own separate cake. There will be cake right?

Well, shall we go?
Yes, let's go.

BBQ?

If anyone is up for it I propose we make an effort to get some BBQ stuff together and all bring a bit of food - if everyone brings something noone will go hungry.

We can buy cheap disposable BBQs and either all bring ready made stuff or stuff to cook or chip in and do a supermarket BBQ run. Any takers?

NB this will only work if someone has a car and people are willing to carry a few bits and bobs that's why I thought I'd mention it now.

Also, people should say what they're bringing so we don't end up with 800 sausages and no ketchup.

NB This is a suggestion for PiP on the 27th NOT this sunday

I'll gladly chip in/bring stuff... If someone will explain how.

We gonna fire up the barbeque n' roast us some burgers? Golly gee, a July BBQ sounds downright American. We can toss a baseball around and I think Dom said something about bringing apple pie.

Yee Haw!

Well, shall we go?

I am unsure of how large American corporations will benefit from this. Perhaps we can restructure to better suit the economy.

Off to enjoy a refreshing Pepsi.

er, time. Well, starts when the first people turn up and ends when the last people leave On nice sunny days you're likely to find people there at lunchtime until 11ish.
So turning up about 3/4ish means you're likely to find someone there already, and if not you're there so it's started

Nice bump.. Now if we're going to have a BBQ people are going to need to bring things. I think we'll buy some basics (BBQs, coal, sausages, bread, ketchup, some veggie stuff) and pass a hat round for contributions.

If people can try and bring a bit of food and/or drink that'll be grand.

Those who don't bring food/drink but want to partake in the BBQ can make donations to cover the big shop. Is that ok everyone?

So, who's bringing what? - it would be useful to have a rough idea beforehand.

I don't think I'll bring any food, since being on a hot train for a couple of hours won't do it any good.
I'll bring a load of charcoal though. I'll see if I can also borrow a grill and some implements from somewhere too.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Is it OK if I drag along (non-spinning) friends? Some of them juggle (a bit)and I'll bring my bodran for some drumming.

If we did that then we'd bring our own food.

What I'm asking really is: does anyone have any strong objections to spectators?? My friends all love watching, but don't really participate so much. If they all decided to tag along, which is a strong possibility, it starts getting up towards the 15 mark!
