A Snow trip. i want to go burn stuff in the snow. Im going up around Falls Creek for a week and i might be able to try it there but having a big gathering would be great. The snow would also help if we set our self's on fire.

so when and where do you think we will go.

will we be skiing and twirling at the same time ?

*remembering first time light*

i was standing on a rock outcropping overlooking the city. we had just had the first snowfall of the year so there was a few inches on the ground and those big fluffy snowflakes lightly falling in the moonlight....

too bad you guys can't come over to good ol' Michigan. We get 250" a year here!

I don't know about spinning whilst skiing.....good luck with that one

peace,

I know this is bringing up a very old thread. But dose anyone think it would be fun to do a twirling snow trip?

This one didnt go ahead in the end which was sad but im sure we can find somewhere and come up with another trip to the snow which will be fun.

Count me out. Can't stand cold. Hate snow. Am going to Europe instead just to avoid the BRISSY winter let alone some frigid Southern field!

wow... this would be absolutely awesome to do! Id seriously look into it.. if I was over 18.

Also, are you looking at real snow camping (like, in a tent.. in snow) or at a resort?

Well if we wanted to snow camp and twirl the easiest places would be up on Mt Stirling. Its only a shot ski or snow shoe into the main hut and there is room up there to play with fire.

Though you would need a good snow tent to camp out the night there. The hut might be free to use but you cant trust that.

The huts aren't there to sleep in, they are only there for emergencies (eg- getting caught in a blizzard)

Snow tents are always a necessity when snow camping, and prices tend to be quite painful from what I can gather, but then, hiring cabins can be too

WHO WANTS TO GO???!!!
I'm so keen! Come on people, you can do a luxury 3 nights in Buller staying in a room (so much cosier than a tent) with lift tickets etc all included for $450!
Or under $100 for a day trip.
