Tell us all about it! We love hearing about our fellow poiers/staffies/misc. toyers succeeding with new things biggrin

It's just hard to keep up with it all sometimes, so if we keep it together you'll be certain to get a little feedback.

here a pat on the back in advance from me

Was playing with contact stuff last night, very silly indeed. Need to try and get a full neck -> arm roll in, and then steal all the other staff moves wink

eek im to scared to even try that.....

me, weeeeeelllll.... earlier i did:

into outwards butterfly airwrap, wrist wrap right poi on right wrist, move into forewards tangled buzzsaw which has 1 extra twist, unwind extra twist by popping it out to the left, and then back into normal tangle buzzsaw and what ever sillyness you feel is needed.(wristwraps ubblove)

Think this may be something old hat for most people, but here goes...

Was playing around with some leg wraps for the first time when I did this: simple forward swing, but open legs and let poi go between them, til they are behind you and you're doubled over like a cowboy with trapped wind. ubblol

The second they stop, whip them back out into reverse swing. So it has the effect of a wrap, but theres no body contact at all. The effect is, the poi are pulling your arms through your legs, stopping mid air with string horizontal, then get whipped back out.

Is this revolutionary or am just I kidding myself? hmm...

Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

This weekend I perfectly mastered how to lose both my sets of sock poi, one pair were my prized practice poi and one newly made pair, fresh as a daisy, lush custom glow socks without even touching them. Magic! I'm having a little difficulty nailing the move again tho since they have not returned and I was 120 miles from home frown I hope I manage to learn the finding poi move sometime soon

Funny you should mention that, me and Rossco can now do the fwd 5bt weave together, we've hit a couple of two-man hyperloops and are currently trying to turn into the rv 5bt. If only we had more time to practice together! Damn those 120 miles between us! rolleyes

ditto for me and bloo custom except its more like 300 miles and for some reason it tends to only happen when we're too inebriated to do poi solo umm ubblol

your move repertoire is pretty much identical to ours - hyperloops and airwraps work fine but anything buzzsawed is a huge no-no.

i'm thinking of a renegade act for slovenia involving a *huge* pair of trousers and a massive jumper...
