and I'm as nervous as if I'm walking into a bar full of strangers - so deep breath and here we go...
Just got into poi and i'm pretty crap but it's just such a buzz so gonna keep at it - who says you can't teach an old dog...
a good friend is getting married next august and she's told her mum I'll do fire! no pressure then.
I'm not v good at chat rooms n stuff, they scare me - in fact it's been 3 years since I last went on one but the guy who introduced me to poi is/was a HOPer so i reckon it's worth a try
dya know I was even worried about these fab little things I've seen on people's messages - right over my head i thought - and here they are on the screen - doh!
But now I can't get em on here aargh! 1 step forward, 1 step back.
Hopefully I'll look back on this and laugh in years to come!

Yeah it's a pretty neat bit of kit - only trouble is there isn't a Palm version of QuickTime so i can't play vids off my phone on it
my great plans foiled again!And now the |Palm won't HotSync over Bluetooth, I lost Broadband AGAIN the whole of yesterday and i STILL haven't got the free talk bit working
I hate computers and I would give up but for HoP and more specifically keeping in touch with you lot!
Oh yeah and my car's a write off so I now have a horrible Mazda hire car and i won't be able to buy mine off the company in December

Jen can have a ride if she wants, now all we have to do is make a chariot, I think it should be pulled by Millhouse and Jon, and Me and Bov in the back with the spears... Prodding some random chavalikes... and going about 2 miles an hour...

it's a random word. In pigeon's intro i chose the word plump. I thought it sounded onamatawhatchamacallit. Elephants sound less so....

I thought Onamatapaeic was words that sound like the sound they describe like slushy - isn't it alliteration for words with the same initial letter?

plump is onamatpaeic. It's the sound something large and squishy makes when it hits the floor. For instance an old goose feather pillow....
Elephant isn't as good in that respect.
I think Elaine might work if you were travelling really quickly. Eg tthe noise that F1 cars make. Although you might need to add vowels to elongate the mid section....
