hello
i'm interested in entering the COL 2011.
my problem is, i don't know where to get music for it? the options i thought of is recording myself (which won't be so good...) looking for sherewere royalty free music, which there aren't many, or looking for an artist i know well enough which will have something a bit adequate, which will be frustrating and probebly aventually ussless...
now i thought of using jamendo.com. now some of there music is almost royalty free (only "Give credit to the artist") so the question:
Can i use this kind of music? you do give credit in the end of the video...
thanx in advance!!

You might have a problem with Jamendo in that it is free for personal use only. I believe CoL comes under commercial use, yes?

"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."

Ah, ok. Royalty free, but not free. So you will have to pay to use it, but not royalties. At least if I understand correctly.

Not actually sure what CoL falls under, since it is not a short film, as they specify "fictional". Ah well. Just something to keep in mind.
