I'm not gonna call them double staves because i think it sounds bad and maybe even elitist. That is all.

It's not elitist, there just... Plural of staff is staves.
I think if you are talking about companies then the staff of more than 1 company would be staffs, but with objects I beleive the plural is always staves. *shrug* I could be mistaken.

I hate how staves sounds. It makes you sound like a wizard. So I just say staffs.

Most wizards only use 1 staff though =P, in fact, any mention of "staff" and I immediately think of martial arts and fantasy books.
On the other hand, "Staves" does make me think of wine barrels.

"Hey there, do you juggle? ... spin poi? ... contact juggle? ... dance? ... do parkour? ... play with sticks? ... diabolo? ... play an instrument?"
See which one doesn't make much sense? I know alot of kids that play with sticks to be fair. ^_^
At this point I'm just being an ass I'm sure lol.
