If there is anything you want to shout from the rooftops but dont have a ladder, then this is for YOU! (plus it is a lot safer than climbing on top of a building)

Awe, but snow is magical for where I live! The entire city shuts down for great reason here. Last year it snowed and in my tiny county of 5000, over 200 wrecks in one day. The snow was melted the next day and that was our winter for the year frown

One of my coworkers was murdered. Not one I could even describe (I'd probably seen her like four times total, we work completely different times of day), so I'm not sad so much as startled and angry. Her boyfriend had been out of jail (for raping and beating her) for all of about three days when he finds her, rapes her, and beats her to death. I'm angry that men like this aren't detected and aborted in utero, that our culture still spawns scum like this, and that our penal system could do nothing to prevent him from simply picking up where he left off.

That's horrible. I'm amazed at the incidences I've seen where completely lunatic scum who would be incarcerated for x amount of years would somehow be released after months on parole then they wold be back doing the same things that got them in trouble to begin with. And often by that point they felt they had a vendetta and free license to go do terrible crimes.

I Just bought the stuff I need to carry and fuel my new (unflexible) fire snakes. Some plumbing is a damn ripoff, my new highly convenient thing that stand up the tube and has a big brass weight for the base and seals the tube costed like $45 but I needed it if I am to fuel my snakes. Now I just have to finish the second snake, the first one looks like a giant sex toy.
