I had a bit playa with footwork and here are basic steps:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

STANCE

Non-Https Image Link

Wheel stance with legs close to each other with straight body.
From this position you can, move your hips, bend your knees
or jump.

Non-Https Image Link

Wall stance with legs apart and straight body. From this
position you can, bend your knees or move weight from one leg
to other.

STEP

Non-Https Image Link

Back step, is done from wall stance, without turning,
by moving the leg back behind the other and so on
in opposite direction. Similar to "front step" done
the other direction.

Non-Https Image Link

Rob's step is done from wall stance, without turning,
by moving one leg out of the ground by bending the
knee while bending knee with the other leg and taking
the wight to it.

TURN

Non-Https Image Link

180, is done by taking the weight to one leg and doing
180 step with the other and reapeat.

360 without step, is done like 180 but the leg during 180
did not touch the ground while moving, continue to the
other 180.

360 in stance, is done at wheel plane, by taking the
weight out of both legs, while moving body into 360 turn.

MODE

You can add to all previous basic footwork, any tune you
like. You can jump, roll or run, you can...

---------------------------------------------------------

For more about footwork, ask Mr. Durbs.

eeerm input welcome,

you know what would make your diagrams a lot better and easier to understand, Richee?

Labelling. Highlight the start/finish point. Add arrows to show the direction. Use something other than ascii to make your diagrams.

Add labels, and see everyone understand what you are on about. after all, what's the point of trying to explain or record things for the community, if nobody else can understand them? smile

Empty your mind. Be formless, Shapeless, like Water.
Put Water into a cup, it becomes the cup, put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, put water into a teapot, it becomes the teapot.
Water can flow, or it can Crash.
Be Water My Friend.

Hummmm, the diagrams appear to be gone....

So based on what I remember from yesterday...the starting position was in black and the finishing position was in purple. I do agree they should be labelled as I just guessed that ( more like applied deductive reasoning )

Richee...are you giving names to things that already have names? I went a googling to check out "Rob's step" and found nothing but aerobics instructors named Rob, offering step classes.

This inventing names without detailing that you did that has been a constant source of frustration. An example would be the use of the word trammel. I found no useful reference when I went to find out what the word meant and it wasn't until Alien Jon mentioned "trammel of Archimedes" several months later, that i figured out you meant ellipse. Why not just say ellipse ?

Likewise with paracircle... ???? When I went asearchin', I got something like " a circle with a decreasing radius". What?? I'm thinking. Do you mean a wrap ?

Richee, as of late I've taken to treating your posts as puzzles. Puzzles i can't solve and it should be obvious to you after all these years that nobody else can solve them either. Now there's nothing wrong with puzzles, but sometimes we need hints and we also expect the answer(s) to eventually be published.

I've personally invested hours and hours into deciphering what you are trying to communicate, and come away with nothing more than frustration and anger frown

Sometimes, I catch myself wondering whether this is your intention, you've had countless posts requesting clarification, yet you persist with this cryptic style which raise nothing but confusion.

Rob's step, is name for Bluecat leg moving style thing,
that is significat for his routines.

OFF TOPIC:

Today I've found, that people see, what they want to see.

The images appear, when the Valurus server is online, but
I share this 'black' server connection, with other 3 peep.

About the naming, trammel comes from mathematics,
paracircle is first name someone mentioned when this
move was discovered, so I gave it to it.

What I'm posting is only a reflection what I'm doing,
sometimes less, sometimes more.

Look at it as a whole picture, footwork what is it about?

What I'm writing, is reflection what I'm doing or thinking
about, nothing elese, also nothing special.

right,

Hi Richee..

Yes, we see what we want to see, or more precisely, we see what we expect to see and in the case of the "poi moves" section we expect to see ideas we can relate to and expand on.

I hadn't considered that you weren't concerned that people don't understand what you're writing and are mainly in this for your own ends. OK, that provides a fresh perspective.
