Hmmm.... I am in a few places....

My favourite category:

"Erotic fanfic writers who put themselves in the story"

Is it just me or is that a) very warped and b)very weird?

'We're all mad here. I'm mad, you're mad." [said the Cat.]
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "Or you wouldn't have come here."

What? You mean you never had thoughts about the eye candy character? No fantasies about Willow/7 of 9/Jadzir Dax/Starbuck~Riley/Spike/Angel/Lee Adama..

Ahem...

I'll get my coat...

Being old enough to have seen the original series, that's not an image I wanted to be thinking of.

Dirk Benedict didn't stop acting. He just had a sex change operation, and his contract said he had to be in any future versions of Battlestar Gallactica.

Its a reworking of the old series. A few things here and there were changes.

I personally think the new one owns the old school.

Also, Jarle: You can watched Dubbed anime?

Eurgh. For shame. Dubbed is god feckin awful...

In very few cases I can, yeah. Yu Yu Hakusho I watched dubbed, as well as a few episodes of Trigun with my cousin. That being said, I've watched all of Trigun subbed, and I only watched most animes subbed. The point is however, that I don't really mind either way.

Dubbed and subtitles don't make all that much difference for the storyline. There are subtitles which don't do the original language justice and there are voice overs which are more accurate! It

Personally, I try to watch them in original language without any subtitles wink

Hm.. it's pretty rare that they bother getting decent actors for the dubbing though..
Mind you, I was introduced to anime by a uni society where virtually everything was home-subtitled by a totally bilingual guy in the club to a really high standard, so I guess I got biased from that.

I would like to have a previous conviction for live action roleplaying taken into consideration as well..

Oh yes, and I *do* like the pokemon mini-films that were at the start of each of the movies..
Not keen on the films themselves though.. or the general episodes.. not sure what that would count as.

THE MEEK WILL INHERIT THE EARTH!

Oh, I forgot about the video games. I sometimes play RPGs, but unless it's really good I sometimes don't even finish it. So I guess I'm midway between?

Oh, and a massive Star Wars fan, but apparently it doesn't count beyond the second box. Hmm.

Kupo!

Helsing subs are awesome. The trouble is that madman or whatever company dubs them doesn't bother forking out the money for good voice actors if they think it isn't going to sell well. They knew helsing would be popular, and it's happened with a few others as well. Things like naruto and one piece were dubbed by the American kids show networks, and so they got crappy voices, and the Aus licencers are too lazy to redo what has already been done.

personally i prefer subs for most anime, simply because it makes most bad animation in talking segments irrelevent, because your reading, but you can still njoy combat segments when they only bother shouting each others names, or phrases you've already memorised; like "What was that!" or "No way!"

Back to topic...

I'm a sci-fi book fan, a gamer and a anime nerd, so thats one from tier 2, and two from tier 3.

Do you count the worst, take an average or add them?
