Right now I hold metres over metres of beautiful fabric for costumes...

Whereas some will just end up in (skin-tight) overalls, some desperately wants to be converted into opulent costumes for walk acts and stilt walking.

I do have some very basic pattern for something similar to what I want, but would maybe somebody have some input as where to find patterns for costumes?

Any contribution welcomed smile

Gnor, I have wickedly sensitive skin and I don't suffer bad reactions at all from it.

Unfortunately, like all other dips and sprays, it does wash out. I haven't come across one yet that doesn't. But because it's a dip, I just put it in a bucket or bin, dip away, wring out, hang to dry and then pour the rest through a funnel into the bottle again. I find I get more bang for my buck than with a spray (less pain in the hand too!).

Hope that helps! biggrin

Thanks. The person who wants the product is sensitive to some products so thats reassuring and its useful to have tips on how to make the product go further.

What sort of fabrics have you used it on?

You get the one appropriate to the fabric you have. There is a Firex for synthetics, for naturals and I think one that's a generic catchall. I get the one for synthetics mostly, and I have the generic if I am dealing with a cotton that I don't fully trust.

But I burn swatches of all my costume fabrics before I make the costumes, if it will be used for fire (I have some that are not). That allows me to know what I am dealing with more readily.
