ooh! i'm guessing it was sprinkled on the staff end in some way. without some proper advice, i'd recommed trying a small quantity, whislt well dressed for the occasion (i.e. VERY safely) (edit, now i read the post below, that seems more likely)



to quote wiki:

"The term Lycopodium is also used to describe the yellowish, powdery spores of certain club mosses, especially Lycopodium clavatum, used in the past in fireworks, fingerprint powders, as a covering for pills and explosives"



i'd be really, really careful testing it, if i were you...

Ahem... yes quite impressive, if I had to take a guess (and I always do) I'd say that it's just a regular hollow staff with some lycopodium powder placed in both ends then spun vigorously.

Notice how careful he is to keep the staff level before he begins to spin? Bet that this is to stop the powder from simply falling on to the ground!

Could it be put into poi? I don't know but I'll be thinking about this

I know how to make staff for use with lycopodium, but cannot understand how to use poi with it.
