Ok people, what's your favourate film of all times? I only ask this cos I'm sat here bored out of my skull, listening to the top gun soundtrack.

So I'll go first, and I have to say top gun - it's such a classic, and full of typical 80's music.

The Lord of the Rings. Its not a trilogy, its just one really long movie.

"28 Days Later" is also pretty sweet, if I'm not allowed my first choice.

LOL i gotta go with you on ALL of those. The Nightmare Before Christmas is spectacular. I've watched it so often over the years and never got sick of it. Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail - HAHAHA! The LOTR trilogy was great. One of the few trilogies to actually carry a decent standard throughout all 3 movies and not bomb terribly. beerchug only complaint i have is that they killed off my darling elf in the 2nd installment. mad cretins.

I'll take all those, and add on some disney movies. You can't go wrong with disney! well, not really the recent stuff, but the older ones - Aladdin, Pocahontas, Robin Hood ubblove, and of course, The Lion King.

gimme a good sing-a-long and you can bubble-wrap, package me, and mail me to the north pole biggrin

How much longer will it take to cure this

None of you lot ever seen "Withnail & I" then?
Bloomin' marvelous so it is. In a very English way.

Those of you drooling over LOTR, have you checked out Peter Jackson's early stuff? "Braindead" is a masterpiece and "Meet the Feebles" needs to be seen to be believed.

I always want to say "Star Wars" whenever anyone asks the favourite film question. The original original ones mind, none of this anakin and jaja rubbish.

HAHA oh yea i completely forgot about the emperor's new groove! that was really good, almost at the same level as the earlier disney movies, which i think totally rock. i do miss the little musical aspect that came with the movies tho. was sorta a package deal. long live sing-a-longs!

GAH! GAH GAH GAH HEATHANS CRITONS AND BLAPHLEMERS!

Pray tell why has NO ONE mentioned the plain and obvious 'rock harder than diamond' 'rule more than a titanium ruler' movies such as

1. Amilie (no words can describe)

2. Pulp Fiction (nuff said)

3. Fightclub (DELIVER ME FROM SWEDISH FURNITURE! the book rocked as well)

4. Interview with a Vampire (Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Kirsten Dunst, Antonio Banderas and Christian Slater....i mean come ON! and yes another book turned movie...i love anne rice btw)

5. He died with a Fellaffle in his hand (and yet ANOTHER book/movie....the book and the tasmanian babe fiasco rocked...if ur not east coast australian u'd miss alot of good jokes but still blimmin awesome just for anyone...can you say DESTRUCTATHON!)

Those are the absolute don't mess with me favorites (that i can currently remember)...the rest are for conversation starters...cause all you seem to be stuck on lord of the rings.

5. Kill Bill

6. Secret Garden (yet another book adaption...done masterfully)

7. Edward Scissor Hands (mmmm Depp errrrr...i mean Keira Knightley *blush*)

8. Shindlers List (if it weren't for this film i'd totally ignore Speilberg...AI sucked that badly)

9. Serendipity (corny i know but i love it)

10. Nightwatch (yeh little obsuce but looking forward to the rest of the trilogy)

12. Sin City (Frank Miller and Tarentino are gods)

13. Ferris Bulers Day Off (...AHHHHHHHHHHGGGGGGG)

14. Mementoe (if only for its unique stuff with ur mindness)

15. Butterfly effect (same again)

16. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (yet again mind screwy-ed-ness)

17. Shoulin Soccer

18. Harold and Kumar go to white castle

19. Kung Fu Hussle

20. Shall we dance (original japanese version not the American remake *cough* completely-copied-with-no-original-thought-or-input-except-for-lame-english-dialouge *cough*

Another two i'd put on this list are 28 days later and nightmare before christmas but they've been said...

Anyone feel like also adding in worst movies as well? I'll start

1.Starship Troopers 2

2.Dracula 3000

3.Vampire Clan

4. How to Lose a guy in ten days

Errrr *blush* did i mention i'm very movie/book orientated? well i am...fiction is a religion to me...so ur going to have to excuse my over zealous THIS ROCKS blah blah blerg!
