Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourself, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous and talented? Who are you NOT to be?

was it a good turnout? what is to be expected this sunday?

ah i love st kilda - although it might be gentrified, sold out and saturated with greed, i will always hold a special place for it in my heart. ahhhh. a charm that fitz/bruns/northc just don't have...

see you all there smile

that's okay guys, no one's requiring anyone to do anything.

think of it as being spoilt for choice more than anything.

Personally, my typical sunday starts with an exhausting drive back to melbs while covered in dirt, so kudos to youse for attending *any* sunday fire gatherings!

also, it is less than spectacularly supportive of the both of you to profess how much you don't want to attend Andrea's efforts.

More gatherings = sign of a healthy fire community.

That's a good reason to support this night.

Hmm fair point about the healthier scene. But what's the point in having two simultaneous twirl meets?

I used to go to the St kilda meets, until I was consistently the only one there.

I would love to come to both, hey I live on St Kilda road!

.....but considering I set up the alexandra (yes it's really victoria) gardens thing, I have to show my support.

Is it once a month? If it is i'm more likely to come, in fact it might be good think to have it down there once a month.

Good luck with the spin.

Geez, I'd give my right arm to be ambidextrous.

This is whole gathering is borne out of Andrea's enthusiasm. it is up to personal choice whether you support it or not.

I'm looking for a fire gathering to go to this Sunday. Will there be twirlers at St.kilda. It looks like the com games have taken over the Alexandrea/Victoria Gdns area.

So does that mean there are fire gatherings in St.kilda and Alexandra Gdns every Sunday from now on?

fiendish, the sunday QV Gardens gatherings in the early evenings off St Kilda rd are actually in melbourne, and they are fairly frequent. As yet, this St Kilda gathering is actually in St Kilda off the beach and is still newer and isn't so frequent. it starts at about 8 PM, though andrea hasn't indicated that they'll start at 8 every time, so please check into this thread while we work on a site for it.

Hi durbs, would like to grab some time with u, melbs will welcome u with open arms and not a little groping....

yes there are, depending on what's closest to where u live and in the context of the HOP community, there is one semi regular meet in Frankston and a fairly regular meet in the QV gardens, Melbourne (opposite the arts centre spire)

please perform a search on melbourne meets.
