Hello! Thought I should update this bit as - however much I wish - I am not 24 any more! Anyways here is me!

Gosh!!! I haven't been in here for a while. I should do some updating I guess....
Well the big news is for 2 days I am unemployed and on Monday I start my new role at the gallery as Education Co-ordinator (schools). I'm really excited to have my first proper job in something | actually enjoy...rare but worth celebrating.
Very happy for Guy that he is off soon but scared too as he will be so far away. I think i'll be a bit lost without his hugs and general lovlieness. I guess I will get to know Colchester a bit better and Guy will have the experience of a like-time. it will be quite a wrench though
I have moved into a new flat in Colchester and I know live in a turrett..i just have to keep growing my hair until Guy gets back and he comme climb up that way.
I hope everyone's well in HoP land and hope to see you soon at things.

Brrrrrrrr ....... its a bit chilly isn't it?
Have been trying to keep up the poi in Guy's absense. Its quite good for taking my mind off things. Today Is Guy's and me 2 year anniversary!!! Madness how time flies - bit hard though with the better half being too far away!
Wish there were a few more HoPPers close by - really missing the company of such lovely angels! If anyone is passing Colchester feel free to stop by for a cup of tea and a spin! I'm going a bit mad here without you all!
Have been thinking - its 2007 next year and surely the nought-ies have a definate look but couldn't think what it would be. I am now guessing its the rise of the Chav and reality TV - how depressing!

Tomorrow I'll be teaching a poi workshop! Argh! Very scared and bewildered cos I'm not actually that good so a bit scared about teaching it - odd!
I saw a trailer for a new French and Saunders programme called Jam and Jerusalem (about the WI) and it had that blonde girl from Big Train and Bridgit Jones doing very bad fire poi in a church and setting the church on fire - i'm bracing myself for lots of ribbing from people!
Finding my new role at work a bit tough. Not actually what it says on the tin - I feel like an events organiser when I couldn't organise a half pint in a brewery! Feeling very low about it I have to say. Maybe it will get better after this forth-coming event. I'll let you know I guess. I know its mainly me posting in here but I have to say its quite lethargic to get this all out!
Anyways, I was glad to go up to Cams last week and have a giggle. Feel like I'm not giggling much at the mo!
I guess that's it from me for now. I'll let you know how the poi workshop goes *gulp*.

Hi everyone.
The poi workshops seemed to go really really well! Which Is fabulous.
Have to admit that I'm feeling really not great at the mo and bursting in to tears every few minutes. Its not great that everyone I mention that to that Guy is in China keep telling me that they know someone who went to China and now has a beautiful Chinese girlfriend / wife - I DON'T WANT TO HEAR THAT!
I have tyo say I haven't been this unhappy in a long time and it scares me. Colchester sucks and I don't want to be here at all. I feel very lonely and trapped with no where to turn and all I want to do is run away. I know that sounds melo-dramatic and stupid but I'mjust so miserable I would do anything to have some happiness or anything right now apart from emptiness and lonliness. I'm doing stupid amounts of over-time at work as it keeps me occupied but I'm even failing at that! I have nop idea why i'm here as I am really rubbish at it!
Anyways - i'll stop ranting now. I have to go and sweep up gglitter - its the only thing I seems able to do! And even then I get told how awful the floor looks!
Anyways - another poi workshop on Monday. Hope fully will progress from corkscrews and butterflys to something else!

The performance was cancelled - quite gutted cos have put a lot of time into teaching the girls - I hope I get first dibs on the equipment they bought though!
Colchester is so rubbish - bloody weather!

Here are some back. Def need to do some visiting - I hope you're up for it!
On the plus side the council are paying for all the workshops I did even though they originally said they didn't have the budget for it - good to have friends in the right places! Yay! A step closer to China!

Here I a m in Yanshuo in CHINA. guy has found a staffer and so is out playing in the street. Things never xhange. He has also been doing well spreading the poi scene here spining in the tiniest bars!!!!Its so great to be out here and esp wiv Guy -

back at ya! - lets catch up soon though? I've got Thursday and Friday off this week before my sis comes to visit at the weekend - so if you guys are up to anything let me know. Sorry I couldn't make it to the BBQ - probably a good thing as was really poorly throughout the night!Met a lovely COLCHESTER spinner (yee gods - they do exist!) and he gave me a few wraps pointers as he also does glow-stringing. Yay!
