I have noticed since i started looking on these forum thinggummy bobbies that lots of people seem to be obsessed with a type of animal. You have no idea how happy that makes me because i was beinging to think i was the only person who had reached the age of 25 and was still convinced nothing in the owrld is as cool as a platapus...

... well possibly except those piiiinnnnkkkkkfluffy poi i'm lusting after, ho hum payday is so very far away!

If I was to be 'obsessed' with an animal, it would be tigers. You should see my room... pure big tiger posters and tiger soft toys in the corner and a fake fur tiger mat. (Sounds horrible I know) So yeah... You're definately not alone in the animal lover world.

Strange that you're from london and you love platypi...I think their rather odd...but maybe because they're one of our native animals I think they're boring and overrated :P

Platypus. Wasn't there a robin williams stand-up comedy about this? "...'there's no devil, it's just God when he drinks' ever think then that if God drinks, then he might get stoned... Look at a platypus. I think you'll think he might." Only duck-billed mammal that lays eggs. wink

Platypuses/ platypi (?) are really cute though. I got quite a shock the first time I saw them, didn't expect them to be that small. Always thought they'd be a bit bigger. biggrin

Really loved horses when I was younger, for exotic animals though I'd go for tigers, wolves or dolphins.

First I though like what Flid did, then I thought it might be about eating animal products.

Is it the Truth?
Is it Fair to all concerned?
Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
Will it be Beneficial to all concerned?

I have no idea what you're talking about. ubbloco

Actually, for me it's cats and dogs. Fun times in November. I went to a convention where they were raising money for a "no-kill" shelter in Chicago. They brought some of the dogs with them, and once they got used to the wierdos, they were really casual about it.

There was one dog, a female mixed. I was petting her when she dozed. She woke up, and looked at me. Now keep in mind the pic you see in my avatar? That's what I was looking like. And you could see the gears grinding in the poor pooch's head. "Wait, looks like me, smells like them, WHA!?!?!" She ended up licking my face not knowing what else to do. smile I'da licked her back, but... ummm.... Limitations.... ubbangel

And my animal choices? it's spiritual. I can visualise cat and dog with me. Cat is a black cat, white "boots" and white mask over the eyes. Dog is a dalmatian. Cat's always been there, and Dog kinda padded over to me, licked me in the face, and informed me that he'd be with me for the interrim. Both have lessons to teach, it's a matter of listening...

OOo.... zen.... meditate

Socks

I'm weird. Just work through that and we'll all be fine.
