Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)

Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening

Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.

Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.

For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.

This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

Hey folks. We have an issue.

Brad doesnt think he has enough wood. I know we thought it could never happen, but even if he stockpiles like a looney over the next two months, we just won't have enough for 4 nights worth of conflagrations. Maybe we'll have enough for a couple.

We have discussed buying a few bags of coal, and using that to keep things going later (I have visions of a hot-coal walking competition biggrin) but I think what it comes down to is this:

Do any of you nice people on the DEFINITE list live in a rural enough area that you could bring a boot full of wood (in addition to all your stuff, tents, people, etc) with you?

Or do you have any other ideas where we can get some from? (We are scoping out the possibility of jumping the fence into the docks and robbing some palettes, but the security's pretty good.)

He is, but he estimates that by Easter he'll only have enough for two nights. That's about 16 hours worth of premium quality firewood. Now, we can stretch that by using coal as well, but we're still gonna need more wood, and I dont fancy spending a small fortune buying the stuff when it grows on trees.

Thoughts?

I've had to go to possibles as I might now not get saturday off teaching, BUT on the plus side, if I can go, I can get a bootload of Cheshire wood providing that Bovril, Jon and Will get a lift from someone else...
