Accomodation: Tregedna Farm Campsite (the other one for those of you who attended Falmouth 1 or 2)

Duration: Thursday evening - Sunday evening

Attractions: A beautiful beach, (hopefully) glorious weather, a big feckin fire, more beer and smoke than you can shake several large sticks at, and a bunch of lunatics playing with fire.

Throw in a few workshops, the obligatory 8 mile hike, and yer talkin' heaven.

For those who have not attended a Falmouth event before, there are videos of the last two here and here.

This may well be the only Falmouth event this year, as us Cornish types will all be going to the Play Festival in August - and recommend that you do too!

You serious? Did you guys busk last time?

Cos if there's any chance of making money out of it I think we should do it for charity...

There's loads out there... including...
My friend is looking for sponsorship to do a trek in Guatamala for Children in Crossfire (kids who have had to deal with horrific war situations)

Just a suggestion biggrin

Not sure about busking per se, but a collection pot for charity in the cafe would no doubt make us look a wee bit more responsible. smile Not that we aren't of course...

Yesterday I went for a ride about on my bike, and i swear to gods, the wind was really warm. The weather has officially changed down here, and although it's raining today (that fine rain that soaks you through wink) it's a damn sight warmer than it was last week.

As for greenery, never fear, there's bales of it down here. biggrin

love to all

In four days the long range weather forecast has jumped from dry, to rainy, back to dry, then back to rainy again.

Therefore, I've decided to say sod it, I'm not going to bother checking it again - I'll step outside my tent to see what the weather's like once I've got down there smile

Not many people are fond of Will it seems, I reckon the words 'Fire at will' are said fairly often.
Mostly in films, but they have to have some basis in reality don't they?

wicked question garthy - i was planning on bringing a 6 point plug thingy down so we can all charge our pretty digital cameras and videocameras overnight.

but if we don't have a plug to use, that would be a bit useless...

Not sure how many more barn spaces there'll be, but I guess we'll find out next week. As for camping spaces, there's a whole feckin field of them, so we should be groovy.

There are also power outlets available for about 50p a night IN THE FIELD, so recharging should be groovy.

As for the weather, I reckons we'll get a bit of sun and a bit of rain, but the temperature here has noticably jumped in the last few days, and i think it'll be bearable whatever happens.

7 days...

ps - if you are bringing aerotech toys, sealy bag them or at the very least, tape up the sockets - they don't particularly appreciate sand or seawater... smile

i have 4 aerotech balls, all covered in sand from the last falmouth, they'll be coming with me!

Food, supplies and cooking equipment would be a good idea, tho if we run out we can always go to Asda, its only up the road.

It sound like a really swanky campsite with the power outlets and all, I'm only used to scout camp sites where facilities are well, still to be found!
