Help me people!! I'm trying to write an essay on the poems of Rupert Brooke and no-one's offering me any distraction!! wink

Funny how it goes quiet here at the weekends... must be all the either sociable people seeing their friends, or just the workshy ones who come on during the week. Good use of office resources, I say!

I'm trying to think of something that will esure people reply... hmm... coloured flames? At least then someone will jump down my throat with "DO A DURBS spank " wink

Do a Durbs.

God I am bored out of my mind too. I woke up far to early and now I have thought every thought and done every deed that can be contained in a Sunday.

I was so bored I even cooked.

Hello people,
I've been spinning, watched poi videos, done shopping, met up with a mate for more spinning, carried on putting a practise staff together. Probably should be doing work but I like making things/ being distracted too much!

Also it's the weekly uni fire meet tomorrow so I need to make sure I have everything I promised them. i.e practise staff for the soc. and extra paraffin in case they forget to get some again ubbloco

Like sex, I'm much more interesting in real life than online.

I know every minute detail of that feeling.

But it's worse for you, you have to write an essay.

Off topic a bit, but, the weirdest essay I ever had to write was;

Did neanderthals sing when they buried their dead?

Bit surreal, eh?

I had to write one with the title "The sex life of a Peanut" as a punishment for daydreaming in an English lesson.

Mine wasn't a punishment, it was a proper university essay.
I got a degree for writing crap like that.
What a joke.

I have to write an essay on a book I read this summer, and which now, in the 2nd quarter of school, my English teacher has *finally* gotten around to discussing!

"I know a good deal more than a boiled carrot."
"Fire!" "Where?" "Nowhere, I was just illustrating the misuse of free speech."

It is though, and again I'm writing an essay, for the same part of my course, and there's no-one here to distract me! Bah!

I even did a Durbs and resurrected an old(ish) thread! See how bored I am?!

I reckon the reason it's so slow at the moment is because of half life 2 smile

I just wish my computer was good enough to run it.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Yeah man! And I wish I had an internet connection on my home PC.. it's good enough to run it but you need to authenticate the game over the net, which I haven't got at home.

Bummer.
