I went to the zoo on my last birthday, which was pretty cool.

Plus, the zoo shuts in time for everyone to be in the pub at a reasonable time smile

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Also, do a search wink tongue

I've just remembered that I had a thread asking pretty much the same thing a while ago.
Just so you don't have to do a search, it's [Old link] biggrin

And it actually turns out it was two years ago that I went to the zoo. I can't remember what I did last year, it must have been good smile

But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

If you come to Carnival Twist (May 30th) you can share my birthday cake and there will be lots of people there to make a big fuss of you! Plus Kingston Green Fair is the next day! You can basically party all night and head straight to the fair!

For my 21st birthday I ate cake, had a glass of wine, then went to my room to study for an exam the next day while shouting 'bastards' at my friends who continued the celebrations without me!

Come faeries, take me out of this dull world, for I would ride with you upon the wind and dance upon the mountains like a flame.

well, i havent got around to having a 21st party yet.... its now almost a year later.

on the actual night, i went out to see one of my favourite bands who just happened to be playing in sydney that night. had a few drinks, was home relatively early - but had fun.

i think i may do something - perhaps 20 of my closest friends for dinner. good food. good wine. good company. not sure though.

i think we'll just have to have a tree party at mech house, and since he claims he cant climb trees, we can pass down some food and drinkies to him occaisonally. biggrin

Hello Mech-man wave

For my 21st....no hang on this is about your 21st aint it!! I think you should do something you really like, is there a band or a broadway show you want to see? Is there a place you want to go to but never have been and is actually easy enough to get to? Easy Jet flights are dirt cheap, you could just go away to spain or somewhere for the night for about 10p.

You could start the Atkins diet! tongue wink

You could have a nice meal with your folks

You could have a nice meal with you mates.

You could come to Telford about two weeks before your birthday and then show off your skills to my mates before downing lots of cans of lager....oh hang on you already are!! biggrin

nope, trust me, my mates are incapable of doing that unless i am planning it!

i planned my best mate nicks 21st mainly on my own, putting up the 90 notes upfront it would take to hire teh local rock club out, and sorting out with bar staff and night club woner prices and costs, and while some of them apid me back, most didnt, some paid me back when i new they couldnt and some paid me back cos they are good mates!

still when the night rolled round and teh thankyou was supposed to come round, other ppl got thanked who had just made a few poxie flyers and dont nothing else, but let slip what was happening for a suprise party! so i aint doing it again..NO WAY! i lost money and time and for lil reward (you knwo what i mean, just a clear thnkyou, not oh i hear you helped a bit to set this up!) eek

anyways, trust me my mates aint setting up a suprise patry!

if they are i will be amazed! and love it, but no they aint, i knwo my mates and i knwo what they are like!

and belive me no party!
