Having another one of our "when Im rich and wealthy" conversations, I was asked what I would do if I had a limitless credit card or a large pile of cash in my tuxedo pocket.

I have thought about this many times before, and I have decided that when I am rich, I will:

Buy a tropical island (where there are no nasty typhoons or hurricanes or large 'nasty vibe sending out' weathery things), and I would ask each and everyone of you on here to come and live with me for ever (its not a prison though- you can come and go whenever you want).

It got me thinking though, just how many of you would pick up sticks and leave everything. Your job, you friends (except HOP people) and you family.

The island would be totally self sufficiant (inc a parrafin plant for obvious reasons), Internet connections for keeping in contact with those not with you, beautiful houses, etc.

Well, would you?

Malcolm could even move the shop HQ to the island and we could name the island "Home of Poi", and it really would be!!

Groovy! Sounds like paradise - what's the catch?

in which case kat, the catch would be that you are the only pretty girl on the island with us...

as much fun it would be to live there, i don't know if i could honestly give up my family and best friends. they're too important to me.

now if you gave me my own private jet so i could fly home anytime i wanted, then HELL YA i'll be there! biggrin

Yeah I'd have to pass on that. I'm pretty psyched about my life right now.

But I'd totally come for the holidays! I'd even bring presents. And cookies.

How about winters on the island and summers in New York?

ok, on second thought, i'd have to say i'd need a private jet to come and visit all the time, but not live there. i'm too psyched about my goals and ideas for the future. i still want to continue helping rape and sexual abuse survivors. but i'll definately need a break every so often smile

Oh yes I would gladly give up everything and come hide ....I mean live....on this island of yours.

Of course I would need to also have maybe a couple of weeks a year off to go visit my family, but seeing as most of my friends are firies anyway I think that it would be a safe bet to come to the island and live in harmony away from the hassles and rat race of the rest of the world.
