Jo jo: We want to see you again soooooooooooon too! bounce I think, unless you are a student, or have a job, that you should get WoW smile That way, we can see each other EVERY day! ubblol

Petey: The answer is: Various. Obvioulsy, it takes a different ammount of time to get to us from differnt plaes. Suprisingly, the further away you are, the more likely it will take you longer to get here. ubblol From London, we are about 3.5 - 4 hours away, the price will vary greatly depending on if you book ahead of when you travel. It may also be well worth your while to buy a young person railcard, giving you 1/3 off the fares. hug Cant wait to see you again matey.

Galye: As Lynne said, remind us when you are free, and we will set a date bounce2

Flynty: Yar boo sucks to Voda. Whats the new job you applied for? Is it shoeless dancing for people with foot fetishes? ubblol I wish you all the best of luck! I like snot paintings! biggrin

Jonny is very tired today, because the ginger evil cat came into our house every two hours last night and started a rave, in our house, with the other cats from the area. I also got up at 8 o clock (3 hours earlier than usual ubbangel and did the washing up. Ooooooh.. are'nt I an angel!! [/sarcasm]

Steakymedakey: Glad to hear you are giving out the hugs to people for me. Who is kitten? im confused confused <- I look like this. Glad to hear you got me a present! bounce Ucof loves presents! biggrin

So here I am at work. On the first day. Seems ok, odd to not be at home with Skully though.

Im working for the recovery department of the local council, using the computer to chase up non payees of the council tax.. which in all honestly makes me feel a bit odd - seems stupid to chase up people who have no money, to ask them for more money confused redface but hey, a job is a job, and I like money.
I managed to get firefox portable (runs from my pen drive) working perfectly, after having to set up the proxies (which I found from IE settings ubbangel ).. huzzah for geeky goodness!
I hate IE, and pretty much refuse to use it.. though I am being forced to today, as the system I use at work is Intranet based, and uses java. I cant install java on my pen drive as I dont have the correct permissions for it frown bah!
I'll get home and install all the plugins I need instead ubblol

Must dash.. i type too loudly, and everyone looks at me ubblol

See you later gorgeous!

"A new mouse mat?" - Actually, thatsd not far off of something else that happened.

At work, even though all of the computers are sparkley new (dual core, P4) and they all have "Ready for Vista" stickers on them, the mice, are the ones with balls in eek

I contacte the IT dept and specifially, and said that the ever continuing problem with ball mice was reoccuring - in that, sometimes, your hand will move, but the cursor doesnt. This was very very frustrating for me seeing as I think I have been on 2000+ mouse clicks a day, and i was getting annoyed by the mouse not working properly.

I explained that the problem was being caused because it wasnt an optical mouse, but rather a balled mouse. They said they would come and fix it.

So what do they do? They bring a replacement ball mouse, and tell me to try that.

It worked for about 10 mins, then started to play up again rolleyes

Today, I brought my own optical mouse from home with me, and i can already tell the difference. bounce

And if the IT people are reading this.. then wave Hi 'tards! Thanks for fixing my problem by not actually reading what I complained about, but rather what you thought the problem was, to the point of me supplying my own PC equipment. nana

[strop]And here's me not able to get a job as an IT technician[/strop]
