hey!
couldent find another topic covering this, so, who is gonna be spinning at the demo, and where? Im going to be there with quite a few friends but I would love to meet up with any other HoPers around.

hey guys. this is a very cool thread to stumble across.
I am going to Escape from Samsara the night before and will therfore be in London the next day, and i was intending on going to the march.
Poi spinning would add a great edge to the demo.
Will def. be up for a meet if anyone else from here is going.

Poi4Peace - sound plan. And if someone manages to send a flaming flying into a crowd of people which accidentally decapitates Tony Blair, I won't be crying! It might not be very peaceful but hey, its a solution!
Although then poi might be outlawed as a terrorist activity so perhaps we should stick with the peaceful demo!

Hello - My non poi friends are thinking of coming up now - if they do I'll be going back to Reading for the after party.. If people do want a place to sleep - they have a big house, but I'll have to ask - they are quite used to 'randoms' kippin in the pool room - but I just need to ask - so if you are in need of somewhere - let me know.

i seem to remember that last time someone said embankment, turn right and look for the poi or something, but seeing as i couldn't make it i thought i'd see...

I'll be holding down the German poi for peace scene in Alexanderplatz that day with Stephen, Anya, and anyone else that wants to come.
I think he and I are celebrating Valentines day at the Kit Kat Club. No spinning area, but lots of and that starts with "sp" and ends in "ing", so its kind of similar, no?

Well yes, I think there will be some of us from Southend coming up to London for the march, I read that they are trying to ban the march, but how can you claim to have a democracy when the government tells you what you can and cant protest against? So we may get off at blackfriars and walk up (only two stops) or even Temple. So shall we just look out for poi then as we approach the Embankment?

now they reckon more than 300 000 people will be starting from there and embankment station will be closed early.So we not going to be able to find peeps without phones and luck.
So I'm looking for a plan of how to meet up. Best Idea I've got is 12:00 on the grass next to the millenium wheel.
(south of the river opposite embankment.)
We can spin there while we wait, and its easy to find. Then go join the crowd, maybe crossing wesminter bridge if hungerford bridge is jam packed.
Any better ideas anyone, I'm open to suggestions.
